Coimbatore Marine College Admissions

CMC conducts its admissions completely online. The B. Tech. course and the B.Sc Nautical Science course requires the applicants to pass the IMU CET exam as a prerequisite in the admission application. Admission to other courses is based on the merits obtained by the students after satisfying the minimum eligibility. Eligibility requirements for all the courses must be met prior to the admission process. In addition to these requirements, the applicants must also fulfill the medical criteria.

How to apply?

The steps to apply for IMU CET are as follows:

Visit the IMU college website (https://www.imu.edu.in/) and complete the registration process. Note down the application numbers on the submission of the registration form.
For first time users, you can access the portal with application number as your ‘Login ID’ and your DOB as your ‘password’.
Personal details and preferred choice of cities for examination must be filled out in the application form.
The candidates will then have to upload the requested documents and pay the registration fees on the online portal to complete the registration process. Also, do not forget to take a printout of the fee receipt.
The candidates can choose the ‘Awaiting results’ option in case their 12th or undergraduate exam results are not yet out.

To apply for courses without the IMU CET examination, follow these steps:

Visit the CMC official website (https://www.cmcmarine.in/) and click on “Online Registration” to begin the online admission process.
Fill in the details as required.
Pay the required application fee.
After completing registration and payment of fees (which can be done later as well), the candidates must keep the completed form and fee receipt for further admission rounds.

T. S. Clarissa: T.S. Clarissa is a real-time model of a ship that is built on the campus sprawling 10,000 sq. ft of area. It consists of the Main Engine Room in an operational condition and additional Machinery that provides hands-on and simulation training to the students.
Hostel: The college has a hostel facility for the students within the campus which can accommodate 300 students in an area of 40,000 sq. ft. The hostel has spacious rooms, Gymnasium and indoor facilities, medical facilities, canteen facility, and STD/ISD booth.
Library: CMC has a library that is 5,000 sq. ft in area and has a collection of Marine and Engineering books, publications, and software ship operations.

Admission:

We should have above 65%in class 12th in all mathematics, physics, chemistry, and English. If found this application and application fees and application date on the DG website and IMU portal and sometimes On the Internet website of Marchant Navy. In this application course, you don't have any reservations about the benefits of the Merchant Navy. The admission process was good because everything was online.

My passion makes me join this course. The ratio of faculty was 1:3 with students. All faculty persons are we knowledge and saved in ships for a long and teaching was too good. The term was yearly 2 times it's difficult to pass sometimes.

Application is available online, Eligibility for this course is to secure 50percentage in PCM in class 12th and there are no reservation benefits, The admission process is going better now.

I choose this course to fulfill my father's dream and want to break the chain of poverty in my family and this course is too good for adventuring and enjoying our life. Facilities are very good at communicating with students they teach according to the situations that are happening in their life, they teach practically not Theoretically. Qualifications of the facility are chief officers and 2nd officers and the captain will deal with the academics. Teaching methods are too good. Exams are a bit of stress but from the begging, no one will study but in the end, everyone will study to get good marks. Nothing is difficult until you work on yourself.

My journey at CMC.

There will be an IMUCET exam, it should be qualified to get a seat in the Btech marine engineering. In 12th physics, maths, and chemistry subjects percentage should be more than 60%. Medically should fit in all aspects like eyesight, without fractures, or colour blindness. On the IMU official website, the application form will be available and the application fee will be 1000 rupees for IMU-CET. The application dates will be provided on the website itself. Reservation benefits are available in the case of the ranking system of the IMUCET exam. The admission process is very complicated and it is difficult to get admission to a reputed college and we have to choose the residential course and we have to stay in the hostel only. As of now admission process is going in a very well-mannered and in secure way. No other improvements are required.

I have chosen this course because I am very passionate about sailing and I want to explore the world. The faculty in this college is very well-experienced and highly trained officers and engineers. The students here are from different parts of the country. The teaching method is very good and practicals will be taught here. Exams are conducted in a very strict manner with camera surveillance.

This course is an adventurous job and the salary will be decent. It is my passion to become a mariner and face challenges at sea and can travel around the world by getting paid. The teaching method is good as all staff are well experienced in sailing and have good knowledge in the engine of the ship. Term exams will be around for 6 months once a total of 8 seems will be there and not so much difficulty to clear if we work pretty hard.
