Likes

  • Good Interaction between professors and students and also professors will help us during acedamics.
  • My college has good atmosphere with around 133acres of two cricket grounds, one basketball ground.
  • Have good campus life, good study environment, spacious classrooms with required amenities
  • Things i liked about the campus is the beauty of the nature, hostel, the ground is pretty good like the sports is great.
  • I'm very glad to be here and faculty was good.College with clean atmosphere and separate buildings for each department and having good maintained in classrooms and in campus.
  • Good experienced faculty, syllabus regulation as per VTU rules and regulations, Good Standard question papers in board exams
  • The faculty here are very patient but experienced who help the students when required.

Dislike

  • I chose mechanical engineering, and it was the worst decision I have taken until now in my life. No practical learning, no research initiative.
  • The few companies that came for campus were not communicated to students formally, and it was not that well organized.
  • I have heard that lower caste students avail some benefits like scholarships, but I am not sure.
  • I had heard that the hostel food used to be bad here. They took it to another level, which I have named UNEATABLE.
  • One of the negative points of the college is that it is very far from the Bangalore city center.

Placement Experience:

From 5th students are eligible for getting internships. On campus, there are not many companies visited and we can't depend just on campus placements for getting a good job. For getting higher packages one should practice coding thoroughly. People from the mechanical, and civil branches find it difficult to get jobs. The highest package is 44 lakh and the average package is 5 lakhs. Almost students from computer science, information science and electronics and communication get placed if they are not having any backlogs.

Remarks:

There are two exams one is comed-k for students out of Karnataka and the other one is kcet for state students. For getting computer science or information science one should have a 5-6k rank in comed-k. There are cutoff benefits but only for home-state students. yes, I want one improvement that they should give students from out of state also equal opportunities.
