The students go abroad for the first year at the partner institutes and the second year at XIMB. The global partner colleges are: Quinlan School of Business, Boler School of Business, Loyola University, Chicago, John Carroll University, Ohio, USA, Antwerp School of Management, Belgium, Maastricht School of Management, Maastricht, Netherlands, University of Antwerp and Thunderbird School of Global Management. Simply, your chances of getting a seat in both these institutes purely depend on your percentile just like JEE-Main rank is the criteria for national-level institutes. My friend took admission in XIMB in 2018, the scores of their batch were between 56.5 to 89 out of 150. Here the person scoring has 100% percentile whereas the person getting 88.5 will be close to 99% percentile. Hence, the percentile cutoff varies each year. For example, for admissions in 2019, the percentile cutoff was: XLRI Jamshedpur: BM &ndash; 91.25, HR &ndash; 88 (With Sectional Cutoffs) XIM Bhubaneswar: 94 (With sectional Cutoffs) Here are few tips to secure a high percentile in these exams: Focus on the accuracy of your answer. Do not just beat around the bush or select an answer which doesn&rsquo;t hit the accuracy. Try to solve at least 60% of the total questions. For the rest, you can solve the ones you know properly. Always aim for the highest mark, you never know if you are the one having a 100% percentile. Therefore, thinking about percentile cutoff is in vain until the results are out. As the cutoff will totally depend on your performance, it is best recommended to focus on your performance in the exam. SPJIMR According to the information available, the expected cutoff for SP Jain Institute of Management for both profile-based and normal calls through CAT and XAT is not released yet. So I will base the answer on last year's cutoff XAT: 93.5 percentile CAT: 85 percentile However it’s important to note that for more certainty of admission, one must score around 93-95%ile score and a 680-690 min on GMAT. XIMB The XLRI admission cut-off is directly influenced by the difficulty level of the XAT question paper. XAT 2023 exam was held on January 8, 2023. The question paper was of moderate difficulty level, the same as last year.
