Life is very significant on campus. Living here for almost one year, I have enjoyed a lot on campus and participated in many events. I have been an introvert, but here, I changed slightly. There are 20 committees in my college.
There are two types of rooms in my college. You can have a single room or a double sharing room. In a single room, we don't have an attached bathroom as doubles have. Also, you must pay 10000 extra for a single room per year.
The campus life is great. There are numerous campus committees and all coordinate well with each other. There are a plethora of extracurricular activities happening. The institute has a huge library with a lot of resources, both digital as well as physical.
The hostels provide single as well as double accommodation facilities. There are two messes on the campus and also numerous eateries. The food quality is good and the registration process is quite hassle-free.
Life is campus is great. There are so many events that happen on campus that it becomes impossible to attend all. You"ll find People from diverse academic areas and different backgrounds here. Each club here organises its individual event and we have our flagship event Xpressions too.
All in all, there are 4 residential facilities available here. Students can opt for single or double sharing. The room is good with proper ventilation and an everyday cleaning facility is provided by the college. All the hostels have water cooler and washing machines.
Campus life is lively as there are multiple committees that are completely managed by the students. The annual fest is eastern India's biggest fest and hence the experience was surreal. The Library has updated books and we'll research articles as well. The committees also focus on sports and cultural events and hence giving everyone a good time at the campus
Campus life at a premier b school teaches you very fact to procure, process and fight for each moment to your best capabilities and deliver the results. Campus life is filled with many tasks and deadlines but also activities that would keep you engaged and simultaneously share you the podium to finish it while implementing class room learning. It has 19 committees including core, functional and interest committees which itself shows the magnitude of impact that it brings, creates and delivers.
The hostels are being updated with one more hostel being added with amenities but the very important thing is it develops a connection with you. The hostel is filled with stories and memories and is the major chunk of mba among the alums since many inter-hostel events take place and the blocks are inherited among the students as they are residents of that block and wear the same proudly. The room is non-ac as of now with mess functioning at two hostels and also has a cafe (X-Cafe) within the campus.
The campus life here is very vibrant and it's an entirely student-driven campus. Starting from academics the curriculum is well structured and the faculties are highly qualified. Each lecture duration is of 90mins and prof. abides this strictly. Nearly we attend 3-4 lectures a day, rushing to x-café or Nescafe for a coffee dose and those gossips during the breaks. The library has all the resources that we need for our all functions, reading rooms which are open 24*7 for students, have digital learning platform(UMS) where we are given bunches of database access like- India stats, Statista, oxford university press and others (nearly 36). XPRESSIONS is the annual fest of XIMB, it is eastern India's largest cultural fest. this year we hosted Vishal-Sekhar, sunburn as DJs and karunesh Talwar. The footfall reaches nearly 30000. All the sports faculties are available dedicated badminton court, football field , basket ball field and many indoor games.
There are single and double occupancy rooms available. The double occupancy rooms have attached washrooms. Each room are provided with cupboard and study tables. Each floor has washing machines and even they provide laundry services as well. Boys and girls hostels are separate rooms. Each hostel has MPH(multi purpose halls) for study discussions meeting etc. It has a separate mess , both options of foods are available (veg, non-veg) , it is charged separately, the menu keeps changing every month and they(food secretary) ensure proper nutritious foods are been served. The registration process is simple and the staffs guides you the process and allocates your rooms and all the stationaries required is available at the campus shop.
The campus has 19 committees across all interests and disciplines in college. The committees include- 4 core committees( Placements, Alumni, Media and PR and International relations), 5 functional committees (Finance, marketing, operations, systems, consulting), and 10 interest committees ( cultural, sports, speaking, social responsibility, etc.). The annual fest is Xpressions, the largest fest in East India, and is generally conducted in January every year. The library also has wide-ranging books from all subjects, including hard and soft copies. All classrooms are in good condition- each has a projector and air conditioners in good condition. The chairs are comfortable for sitting for long hours. Various cultural activities take place on campus daily, including multiple case competitions that open only for premier b-schools in India. There are different events held by my committees inside campus every month.
The campus has six hostels- 4 for boys and 2 for girls. Rooms are spacious and have all amenities such as cupboards, tables, beds and chairs. Few items need to be brought such as- matress, bedsheets and dustbins for personal use. The food in mess is of low quality. The menu mainly comprises a mix of north indian and south indian food. The menu keeps changing every month to offer variety in the food. We need to pay the fees for hostel through an online portal, after which rooms are allocated at the discretion of the hostel secretary and hostel wardens. The hostels are affordable and comfortable.

SPBy - Sumanta PatiTalking about my experience, I got a decent mark in CAT, so I got a call from the XIMB BM program. First, They took my interview, and then after 15 to 20 days shortlist will come. Generally, because of covid-19, only personal interviews happened, but before Covid 19, they took selection in 3 steps like Written ability test, a Group discussion, and a Personal interview at last. First, two steps are part of the elimination round. After we get shortlisted, we have to pay 3000 to retain your seat and after your conversion to this institute, you will have to pay another 47000 to this college. I don't recall the exact dates, but the first list came around April 1st, a week, then after ten days, i
