Ans. Yes. This will be evident when comparing the fees of any program, say, PGP-HRM in the two colleges, in IIM Indore, it’s INR 18,39,222 whereas in MDI Gurgaon, it's INR 24,16,800. This difference in fees is because IIM Indore is a government college whereas MDI Gurgaon is a private institute .

Ques. How can one become an exchange student at MDI Gurgaon?

Ans. To be an exchange student , one has to make sure that his/her home institution must have a bilateral agreement with MDI Gurgaon. Then , the International relations office of one's home institutions needs to send your nomination to MDI Gurgaon. They take care of many things like maintenance of corporate communications, alumni communications and events, campus facilities like hostels, mess and internet.

Ques. Is there any hostel facility at MDI Gurgaon ?

Ans. Yes, accommodation on twin-sharing basis is provided to the students of PGPM, PGP-HR and PGP-IB .Separate wings for girls is also provided. There is cooperative store called MART from where all the necessary things can be taken .Students have to bring theri on PC with LAN Card. There are specially designed hostels to suit the needs of executives known as Parthenon and Nalanda hostels. However, the hostel does not provide a parking facility.

Internship in ABG !!

Internships Opportunities:

I am placed in ABG (Aditya Birla Group) in their ABGLP program. It's a leadership program offered by the company. The stipend I'll be getting is 1,50,000 per month along with free accommodation and to & fro flight tickets. I am yet to go on my internship and I have not received my JD/project yet so cannot comment on anything. But all the seniors are always saying good things about the company and their work culture.

Placement Experience:

We have our summer internship process in September and once you are placed, you'll be required to do your internship in April-May-June of the next year. The avg SIP this year was 2,82,000 for 2 months which is basically 1,40,000 per month. The highest stipend stood at 2,00,000 per month and the lowest at 75,000 per month. All the students get placed. So if you are worried that you are not good enough, no need to worry, you'll also be placed at a very good stipend.

MDI, Gurgaon being in the top 10 b-schools of India, offers 100% placements to all its students. The students are offered a summer internship after the end of the first year and it is in the last semester that a student gets placed.
