In my time 2010, a first-year course on b.com fee is 4500, then 2nd year 5000, and last year 5500. But after that fee is hiked every year and it impacts the study cost because some students are not able to pay regular course fees. The scholarship is very helpful to students who could not pay regular fees at that time.
Our fees were increased by the college last year as they were saying that they are going to build a huge Computer lab for us as we were in Bsc CS. Infrastructure is changed drastically. Today's shyam lal college is way better in infrastructure than the previous one. I didn't get the job in shyam lal but there is a placement cell and the selection ratio is very less most of the jobs and internships are for sales and marketing.
There is no hostel in my college. College fees are very affordable and excellent as per services and quality of education provided by the college. There is also some hike in my fees from 1st year to 2nd year.
Compared to private colleges I have searched before this I got a merit point under this university that the fee structure was too simple and not that costly. Average of every month we can say that it's not more than 1500 as per different courses.
The fee structure of Shyam lal college is 20500 per year of my course which is B.A(prog.) Eco + Pol. But you will also give the semester exam fee when semester exams begin to start which is around 1200.
The fee structure is quite high in comparison to other courses where their fees are 5k or 10k yearly. The fee hike is 2k per year. Getting a Scholarship is a long procedure, so don't get excited and don't waste time on that.
I had not got any internship or scholarship. But there sure are many opportunities for doing internships, both on and off campus. And there are also scholarships for financially weaker students if they contact their TIC. The fees were increased. During the first year, it was 16000. And during the second year, it was 20000. But the college infrastructure was improved.
The fees per year are always get increased by around 1000 Rs. There was no such stipend or scholarship available on a college campus. There was a placement cell but not that active for B.Sc. students. There was the kind of job you get after getting passed for sure.
Shyam Lal's fee for B.Sc. Maths Hons is 26000 and there are no hidden charges. The examination fee is 1500 rupees for every semester. There is a Training and placement cell that organizes job fairs in which there are ample amount of companies with good packages and stipends. The average package of our college is 4.5 lakh and the highest was 9 lakh in Byjus in the year 2019. The highest internship stipend was 17k. Talking about scholarships there are so many scholarships that DU provides you like the DU UG scholarship and some private scholarships are also there like the reliance foundation scholarship.
No, they do not provide on-campus jobs. If you are lucky then you might get a scholarship otherwise it is a far dream. There is hardly any financial assistance unless you come from a reserved background. The fee here in our college is very reasonable as it is a DU college.
12th-pass students are eligible for admission to this college. There are many courses mostly in Arts and some in Science. BSc , BA, MA etc Before the corona period there was a reservation and till now after CUET also there are reservation-based seats according to the system.
AKBy - Anshul KumarThere is no entrance exam at the time when I had applied for admission, there are 12th marks cut off the system in which different cut-offs of different colleges were provided by University and we had to apply for the best alternative after selecting the available cut-off
HBy - HarshIn my time admission process is not so much difficult online form submissions and cut-off lists are generated by the Delhi University of each college. Then go to that college where your marks are listed. And the faculty is so awesome.
