Library: The library houses many books, in addition to newspapers and periodicals in the Reading Room for students for reference work as well as for preparation for different competitive examinations. Ques. What is the attendance criteria required for Chittaranjan College?

Ans. As per the regulations of the Calcutta University, students will have to attend a minimum of 75% of the lectures delivered in each subject separately in order to be eligible to appear in the University Examination as a regular collegiate student. If the attendance acquired by the student is between 65% - 75%, the student may be permitted to appear as a non-collegiate student on payment of the prescribed non-collegiate fee to the University. If the acquired percentage is lesser than 65%, the student is not eligible to appear in the University Examination.
