Yes very much good efforts taken by the university of Mysore for the better development of our education. The curriculum is well groomed for the better future of the students. And talking about campus placements our college had the best placement service there a separate department known as placement cell which provides us placements once our education is complete. And many industrial visits as well as internships where held during our 1st and 2nd semester.

Admission :

I'm pretty much interested in hotel industry hence I got an admission into this college. admisson procedure in this college is simple just need to pay for the admisson 55000 per year with DD and get registered.At first when I went to the college for the admisson the HOD of the college showed me around the whole college and the infrastructure was excellent and the kitchen labs. Training restaurants where tremendous hence I was obliged to join this course.

Ethnic day,Cultural day,Training day,Kitchen practicals.The biggest event organized was world tourism day on this day all the students were assigned to a particular task were has the students had to participate equally in all the works and maintain dignity with well grooming and punctuality this was at the best world tourism day was celebrated with hon. tourism minister of Karnataka.

I opted this course because I did my graduation from an IHM where tourism is a vital part of our studies, so I want to continue my higher education in Tourism that is why I ended up here for a bright career in tourism. Steps followed for admission are: 1. Apply for the entrance exam that occurs during the months April- May. Application form are released during the month of March- April of each year. 2. After giving the entrance exam at their due time, results are released within a month and a merit list comes out with respective rank. 3. After the ranking, respective person goes for an interview which carries approximately 25% of the total marks. Interview process happens in respect IITTM campuses. 4. During the interview process, they ask for students preference of their preferred college. 5. After Interview the first list comes of the colleges, with the student names on it. * Their are 4 campuses in this country i.e, Gwalior, Noida, Bhubaneswar, Nellore.

Faculty :

The facilities are very professional and if qualifications are considered many facilities are doctorates and every teachers holds a PHD. Degree in tourism. It is compulsory to get a PHD degree for becoming a faculty in our college. They are very friendly and Average age of the facilities is 35-37 years. They get many projects thourough the Ministry of Tourism, that makes them one of the top tourism professionals. We had our class timing for 9.45 A.M to 4 or 5 P.M depending upon number of classes. There are approximately 5-6 classes in each day. There are many special lecture and many guest facilities comes to share their experiences.

The syallabus is made specially for bringing out a tourism professional in you. The curriculum is very practical and full of exposure. The whole course is divided into 4 semesters and 1 semester is little bit theoretical but other semester is full of practical driven subjects and their is a study tour during 2nd semester to get more exposure and after completing the semester there is industrial training to get more exposure and getting more professional. The teachers are very practical driven and they sends the student to many touristic places to know more about our culture and help the student to get knowledge.

The placement and job opportunities are good. Many tourism companies visited our college for placement and the average salary package offered is around 2 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 4.2 LPA. Our college also provides an internship with a stipend of around 8000.

My admission was based on the entrance exam of MAT and then I downloaded the application form and visited the college to submit the form and I paid Rs.1000 for the registration form. I submitted the application form along with all the required documents.

Our college organizes placement drives wherein companies from different domains visit our campus for the recruitment process. During my batch, most of the offers made were for the commerce background and managerial background. Private as well as government organizations like IRCTC come for the placement drive. We got a decent package averaging of around 3 lakhs which is okay for an entry-level job.

College Events :

The infrastructure is well equipped with decent classroom facilities. Computer lab with 50+ computers and Wi-Fi everywhere. The library has a huge collection of books, journals, and access to a lot of e-books. The classrooms are air-conditioned. The new building is built adjacent to the existing one. The canteen facility is decent. Social life is pretty awesome.

Campus Life :

The students are extensively trained to be corporate-ready by giving them additional training on topics like business analytics, aptitude, Excel, communication, etc. Discipline is of utmost importance at Ramaiah and you get used to the culture, and that is something that is appreciated by most organizations.

The campus had a cool infrastructure along with this the placements were also nice and many a time the campus holds the best placement and that too with low cost. Infrastructural wise the college maintains the relationship with student-faculty concern. For volunteering related activities, our institute had collaborations with Incredible India, UNWTO, IRCTE and more.

The facilities and all the parameters of this college were marvelous and I paid approximately Rs 1.42 lacs/-. and hence, my per year amount was someway to be around Rs 70,000/-. The amount is not at all expensive and hence, one could easily pay to gain knowledge.

Handball, basketball, Cricket, kho-kho and many other sports are played and encouraged in our institute in order to ensure overall development of the students. Cultural fests are also pretty good and the cultural dance performances during the performance were heart warming.
