JEE Advanced registration process is likely to start by the last week of April,2021. The last date to apply for the examination will be in the second week of May,2021. The registration and application form shall be filled online on the official website. Candidates who wish to apply for the examination must have appeared in JEE Main. Candidates with rank less than 250000 are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced. Any candidate who is not having such rank shall not apply as the candidature will be cancelled at further stage.

The registration fee for the exam is 2800.00 INR and 1400.00 INR for male and female candidates respectively.

Candidates shall keep at hand the prescribed documents like marksheet of class 10 and class12 and caste certificate(if applicable) while filling the application form.

JEE Advanced 2021 Eligibility
Every year around 10 lakh Indian students take JEE Main exam out of which only about a quarter of the total are qualified for JEE advance. Renamed in 2013 JEE Advanced from IITJEE, this exam can be taken by students fulfilling the following conditions:

Age criteria must be met for all general students. Candidates whose date of birth in official documents is on or after the first of October, 1996 may not sit for the exam.

Those belonging to the reserved category such as SC, ST, and PwD will get a relaxation of 5 years for the upper age limit.
-
If a candidate has accepted admission in any one of the IITs, they will be disqualified even if they did not continue with any program. If their admission was cancelled after joining the program is also not eligible.

Candidates must have either of the following subjects as compulsory in their 10 + 2 level: mathematics, chemistry or physics along with a language and have at least 75% marks in aggregate.

They should have appeared for class 12 exam in the year 2020 or 2021 for the first time from a recognised board.

Candidates must secure a rank below top 2,50,000 in JEE Main examination paper 1 held before JEE advanced is held that year.

Documents Requirement for General Category Candidates

If your name has been changed, a gazette notification to verify the same is required if it has been changed after class 10.

Birth certificate is needed if the class 10 certificate does not mention date of birth.

Certificate of class 12 or an equivalent examination for those appeared for the board finals in the year 2021. If your result of this examination was declared after June 2017, that too can be used.

Registration Process Details
JEE Advanced 2021 Registration Process Details
Online registration process for JEE advanced 2021 is to start from the last week of April, 2021 tentatively. Caution must be practised while providing information as once the form is filled and submitted, no corrections will be allowed. The final date for submission of your application is to end by the first week of May, 2021. If any mismatch is found in your application, it will be rejected by the officials.

Enter your JEE Main credentials like application number and password and enter the captcha/security pin as shown in the image.

Read the instructions carefully and proceed

A new window will open that shows details such as your photo, signature, information related to JEE Main and other details.

Select your preferred choice of city in the order of most preferred to least. You cannot choose the same city twice.

JEE Advanced Registration Fee
Candidates are required to pay the registration fee online to complete the process of submitting their application. Payment can be via credit/debit card, internet banking etc. You can also pay offline via cash by selecting the SBI branch option. The revised fee for each category of student is as the following:

Document Uploading Practices to Follow
While uploading the required documents, remember to follow the instructions given below.

Registration for Architecture courses are to start after JEE Advanced results are out. Candidates interested in studying B.Arch programs can apply online if they are eligible. The participating institutions are IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee. The exam mode is offline and held only in the seven zonal IITs.

JEE Advanced - Exam Day Instructions
Candidates are advised to follow certain instructions in the examination centre, as failure to comply might result in cancellation of the examination. Keep these guidelines in mind:

Carry a hardcopy of your admit card, id card, black pen or pencil and eraser with you.

Do not carry electronic devices such as calculators, smartphones, smartwatches, or other electronic and bluetooth devices. Only simple analog watches will be allowed.

Do not wear any jewellery or clothing with large buttons.
-
Candidates should make arrangements for reaching the examination centre by themselves if the location is far away.
-
Report to the examination centre at least an hour and half before the examination.
-
Stay in the examination room till time is over even if you are done with the test.

Do not try to answer by unfair means such as cheating or impersonation which will lead to cancellation.

Cooperate with the invigilators and other examinees. Do not get into a quarrel with them.

Ans. The registration form for JEE Advanced 2021 will be available online by the fourth week of April, 2021. Candidates are required to fill the application form on the official website only.
Question: Can I fill and submit the application form offline?
Ans. JEE Advanced Application form can be filled and submitted only through online mode. No offline mode is available for any candidate.
Question: I forgot my login password. How can I recover the same?
Ans. If any candidate forgot the login password then it can be recovered easily. On the official website click on ‘forgot password’ that will appear on the candidate login page. Enter the details and submit. The link to reset password will be sent to the registered email address.
Question: Can I make the payment offline?
Ans. Candidates can make the payment offline by the e-challan. The e-challan is required to be submitted in any branch of SBI with the prescribed application fee. The transaction number should be entered online after submitting the challan to complete the payment process.
Question: Can I change or modify application details after submission?
Ans. Application once submitted cannot be edited or modified at any further stages. Candidates are advised to fill each and every details carefully.
