Remarks :

For admission you've to give jee mains exam. The application form can be filled on mpdte website. After the regular rounds there is a college level counseling for admission in which you've to be present at the college campus on the told dates with required documents. The application form fees is around 1500. As IET DAVV is a state government college so there's 85% reservation for Madhya Pradesh state students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose civil engineering as in core branches most vacancies come for civil engineers. Each class contains around 60-80 students. Facilities are well qualified with good teaching experience. Even the visiting faculties are pretty good. The exams are pretty much on the dates mentioned in the timetable or delayed by 2-3 days. The exams are pretty easy if you study well and solve past papers of your branch.

Internships Opportunities :

The students do internships. You can make your LinkedIn profile with good skills and get internships and jobs easily. It's very important for you to develop skills as soon as you start your college life so that you can be better than others.

Placement Experience :

The campus placements are pretty good. The placements start from your 7th semester. The number of offers made in 2022 was 150+ and still increasing. The number of companies visiting the campus was around 30. The highest package for the year 2022 was more than 50lpa and the average was around 10lpa. The placement in the IT sector is almost 100%

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are nominal as it is a government college. And if you are a student from the MP board with 75% or more you can avail of the medhavi chatra scholarship. Also, scholarships are provided to ews, obc, sc and st students. The campus placements are really good and the average package is increasing with each year. The average package for the year 2022 was around 10lpa

Campus Life :

IET DAVV conducts central India's biggest fest named AAKSHANK and it happens around March. You'll be able to get each book from your course from the college library and you can even avail of e-books online. The college has an inter-branch sports competition conducted by the ISC sports club in the month of December/January. The college has many other clubs like the entrepreneurship club, engineers without Borders, NCC, NSS, phoenix gaming club and many more. The campus life is pretty good if you're able to adjust yourself and find your type of people.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel has 2 shared rooms with enough room for 2. The hostels are not as good as the ones in private colleges but for the fees they are taking for the hostel, it's definitely worth it. The mess is pretty okay with 3 day special which is on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. After your admission, you've to apply for a hostel and as the seats are limited so there's a pretty good chance you won't be getting a hostel room but many other hostels are available just beside the college with good amenities. You'll be getting ethernet in your hostel room which is the best thing.

A good college for btech

Placement Experience:

From the beginning of last semester, students become eligible for placements. Any company visited like Bridgestone, TCS, Infosys, etc. Packages 32 lakh and average packages 4 lakh per annum. Almost 65% of students are getting placement.

Placement Experience:

From 4 years, There were almost 200 companies visited and there were so many offers made. The highest package was 1cr this year and the average is 5.5lakh. almost 70% get placed. To get a good job in its company.

Placement Experience:

Our college placements record is quite excellent, but core companies are lesser placement records. From the 5th-6th semester, companies came for the placements and some companies provide internships and training for the selected students for that company. Above 6.0 CGPA of students are getting placements. For Now, My plan is to be placed in a very reputed company with a very good package for earning and then moving ahead.

Placement Experience:

After the 4th semester companies visit the campus for offering the internship to teh students and after the 6th semester the companies visit for offering the placements to the students. Some of the companies offering highest placements in SGSITS are : 1) Google 2) Amazon 3) TATA 4) ACC 5) Goldman Sachs 6) Samsung 7) Accenture 8) Deloitte The highest package being offered is 32 l.p.a for core electrical branch and 8 l. p. a for software developer profile. About 99 percentage students get placed every year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to become a successful software engineer. Faculty students ratio is not very sufficient we need some more experienced faculties. Some teachers are well qualified and experienced and are helpful to us but more than half teachers are freshers and have no experience of teaching and we struggle with them.
