Remarks :

The Admission process was quota hectic as we have to go through MP DTE counseling this counseling commenced before jossa. We have to fill out the mp DTE application form on the basis of our jee mains rank. I got into the Iet davv IT branch at the rank of 47893 crl the cutoff for the IT branch was 55k.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because of the boom in the IT sector. Faculty: student ratio is quite satisfying as the faculty pays attention to each and every student. We have 2 visiting and 4 permanent faculty for our subjects and labs and workshop of our college are also very well we have proper equipment and teachers operating it. The term exams were quite easy as the university is self-owned and they create their own paper means the faculty create paper. The term exams took place on time.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 84000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

As I am in the first year so I can tell the things from the seniors I have heard. Most of The seniors are placed ame they get internship avalara, TCS infosys, quantiphi, etc 30-35 companies come to our college and very high package they give.

Placement Experience :

Students are eligible for campus placement from the 5th sem and companies starts visiting our college for internship. Tier 1 and 2 and 3 companies also come to our college 50-60 percent of students are placed in our college. The highest package is 60lpa and the average is 7.5 and side profiles are offered in our college and many other profiles are also offered.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college is worth it. The fees are very less compared to other colleges of MP and the facilities are also quite satisfying. Many scholarships like MMVY and Post Metric scholarship are provided to students which give their fees back. I am in the first year but according to our seniors, they got very nice opportunities in campus placement but internship opportunities are quite less in our college.

Campus Life :

Our annual Fest aakshank is very marvelous and it takes place In march famous stars come in aakshank. It is central india's largest fest. It's a government college so u can't get the campus life like a private college but campus life is quite average not so good not so bad. All the types of books are available in our library in fact a new library is being constructed in our college. Sports and extracurricular activities are nil in our college students have to go to a university nearby to use the sports facilities. As there is everything in university. We have different clubs like E cell, Phoenix, feedbox, pratyaksh, etc and they are very active in our college conducting many events.

A good college for btech

Placement Experience:

From the beginning of last semester, students become eligible for placements. Any company visited like Bridgestone, TCS, Infosys, etc. Packages 32 lakh and average packages 4 lakh per annum. Almost 65% of students are getting placement.

After the 4th semester companies visit the campus for offering the internship to teh students and after the 6th semester the companies visit for offering the placements to the students. Some of the companies offering highest placements in SGSITS are : 1) Google 2) Amazon 3) TATA 4) ACC 5) Goldman Sachs 6) Samsung 7) Accenture 8) Deloitte The highest package being offered is 32 l.p.a for core electrical branch and 8 l. p. a for software developer profile. About 99 percentage students get placed every year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to become a successful software engineer. Faculty students ratio is not very sufficient we need some more experienced faculties. Some teachers are well qualified and experienced and are helpful to us but more than half teachers are freshers and have no experience of teaching and we struggle with them.
