IET DAVV college review and placements are IET DAVV Indore

Remarks :

The admission is based on the JEE MAINS rank. The cut-off is based on the courses you want. Suppose for computer engineering BE the cut-off is 40000 AIR rank in jee mains for general and OBC and the similar trend goes for other branches like for information technology the cut-off is 52000 and Electronic and telecommunication engineering 70000 and for electronics and instrumentation engineering 85000, approximately 120000 - 150000 for the mechanical and then civil engineering . The cut-off is quite high for an average Student to get computer engineering compared to other branches and other government colleges of a similar kind. These are the cutoffs of the 2nd round and for college-level counseling, the cut-off may vary. The college is good in reputation but not that much famous compared to sgsits because it is known for the university name Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Takshila campus. The admission process is smooth and you need only an hour for the process to finish.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is smooth, you might feel a bit heavy in first year due to engineering drawing, and mechanical subjects but it is all about your work and how you manage this along with other curriculum activities. The faculties are good and quite helpful if you approach them they will provide knowledge and help . The exam pattern consists of three mid semester exam in which it's mendatery to give two of the MSTs and the end sem. Teaching pattern vary with faculty to faculty.

Internships Opportunities :

The college provides limited internship opportunities but the faculty can help you to get an internship opportunity and this is helpful. There is an IT park near where you can find good opportunities to get this kind of exposure and work on real-time projects and have practical knowledge.

Placement Experience :

The placements in the college are decent if you have that many skills and potential, not only on campus but students have offers on campus. The highest off-campus offered is 57 lpa and the highest on-campus placement offered is 29 LPA. So the placements are good in branches like computer engineering, information technology, and electronics department.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are many scholarships like MMVY and post-matric scholarships along with scholarships for sc and St. The placements here are good and decent if you have that many skills and potential. There are many people who are placed in good companies with impressive packages.

Campus Life :

The campus life here is quite good. If you want to take exposure and want to enjoy life in college after two years of preparation of jee then this college has that fun. The courses here are not that difficult and the exam pattern is flexible so there is time for extra curriculum activity there are many clubs in which some of the active clubs include Cell, NSS, pratyaksh, etc. So you have many options to explore yourself.

Placement Experience:

Our college placements record is quite excellent, but core companies are lesser placement records. From the 5th-6th semester, companies came for the placements and some companies provide internships and training for the selected students for that company. Above 6.0 CGPA of students are getting placements. For Now, My plan is to be placed in a very reputed company with a very good package for earning and then moving ahead.

I choose civil engineering because it has come under my zone of interest. There has been a decent faculty-to-student ratio. The qualification of all faculty members is at top-notch level. The examination held here is not such easy and you just need to have consistent in studying to have good marks

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to become a successful software engineer. Faculty students ratio is not very sufficient we need some more experienced faculties. Some teachers are well qualified and experienced and are helpful to us but more than half teachers are freshers and have no experience of teaching and we struggle with them.
