Remarks :
Admission is solely based on jee mains examination, it's done through state counselling called MPDTE. There are reservation seats available statewide as well as caste-based. All details regarding the course and application process are available on its official website.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Courses available in this institute are computer engineering, Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Instrumentation, and electronic and telecommunication. The degree available is a bachelor of engineering. I opted for computer engineering and use it's worth it. Faculty students ratio is 1 to 15. Professors are well qualified mostly PhD. Also, guest teachers are there too.
Internships Opportunities :
Online internships are available for starting years as well as from 3rd year better internships are available to get experience. Students can join courses and do projects and then do internships and get a stipend.
Placement Experience :
Placement offers are quite good. Different companies like TCS, Wipro, and info beans provide placements. Recently the highest off-campus package of 57 lahks was grabbed by a student and the on-campus package reached around 20 lahks.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is the bare minimum i.e. 84000 rs. It's neither low nor high. Even various scholarships are available with full tuition fee waivers. ST-SC scholarships are available too. Also for general and obc students, if qualified can apply for mmvy scholarship ( on for mp domicile )
Campus Life :
Life on campus can be considered good. There are various social and cultural clubs on campus. A building is dedicated solely to the library. Famous clubs like e-cell and feedbox, Engineers without border, and IET sports club are also there.
Hostel Facilities :
There is a total of 4 different hostels for four years for boys whereas a single hostel for girls. The hostel fee is just 20,500 rs. 2 person rooms are available, and separate beds, an almirah, a table, a chair, and ethernet are also provided. One can register during the admission process or once after joining. But it's based on a first come first serve basis.
