Remarks :

Cut-offs are not as high as those of North Campus colleges. Anyone can easily take a seat by scoring decent scores of around 90% + marks in CUET. Reservation facilities are also available as per the NTA notifications. Merits- Crowd, Environment, Library, Faculty. Demerits- Infrastructure, Canteen. There is n number of societies where students can take part.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculty members are so good and supportive. BCom(Hons) is one of the most prominent courses offered by DU. The faculty is highly educated here. The student ratio- there are 120 students in BCom(Hons) divided into two sections. There are about 15-20 faculty members in the Commerce department. Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. Holders and have expertise in their field. Semester exams are held every 6 months and conducted by the University itself. The exam level for all the colleges of DU is the same.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 10750 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

DU is a highly affordable university in terms of fees. The fees vary from course to course. It may be from 8k-20k per annum (excluding exam fees). Different scholarships are provided by the college and university which students can check and avail.

Campus Life :

The crowd and environment of the college are good. There is a big opportunity for networking and making friends in the college and so much to learn if you are keen to. The Infra of the college is not that good but that doesn't matter a lot (for me). Fests are organized by different departments and societies in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bcom Honours, it's quite an interesting course where you focus on different areas but in most semesters you have accounts as a core subject. Faculty is kinda nice and good where you can talk with lectures about problems and inquiry Lecturers helps with problem if you face in college, though the admin office works very slowly and you often see students in the window of the admin office because there was a mistake

Commerce subject has always been my field of interest. My 1st preference was economic honors but the cut-offs were too high to get into a good college so I choose my 2nd preference B.Com honors which is great too. Also, I am planning to go for an MBA post-graduation so I thought it was a feasible option and subject.

The courses were well structured, with a combination of theoretical and practical classes allowing for a comprehensive understanding of the concepts. They were always available for support and guidance, and their feedback was timely and extremely helpful. I never felt overwhelmed or frustrated during my four years of college, and I owe that to the faculty’s dedication to teaching. Students are eligible for On-Cmapus Placements after the completion of their Under-graduation. But One can still work for Internships with their graduation. Last year 15 companies got into the college and around 21 students got placed. Companies like Deloitte, TCS, EY, etc. I am planning for a master after the degree.
