Hindu College offers UG courses to its students in multiple disciplines such as Arts, Commerce, and Science. Admission into the UG programme is now based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), followed by e-counseling. For admissions into the PG courses candidates are required to appear for the CUET PG entrance examination which is conducted by the Delhi University as well.

Hindu College Admission Process 2023

Hindu College offers several courses under the UG programme, all of which are offered under multiple disciplines. Admission to these courses are based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) score. Candidates can apply via the online registration method from the official website @cuet.samarth.ac.in. The application fees for CUET is INR 600 for the general category and INR 550 for SC/ST/PWbD/ category. 

  • Admission to Delhi University UG Programme will be granted on the basis of the candidate’s CUET score followed by e-counselling. 
  • Candidates are required to register for e-counselling via the online platform. E-counselling will contain 2 rounds where students will be able to choose the college that they want to opt for. 
  • Students will be granted admission into DU Colleges based on their CUET scores.
  • Sports and Extracurricular Activities Candidates will be required to appear for a performance test along with the CUET entrance examinations.
  •  Selection of candidates for ECA will be made on a combination of CUET examination score and the candidate’s performance test.
  •  Candidates must have a minimum of 25 percent score on their CUET and a minimum of 75 percent score on their performance test. 

Hindu College PG Admission Process

Delhi University opens a general PG application portal. Admission to the PG courses are granted as per the CUET PG examination score. Candidates who wish to seek admission to the PG courses can apply via the online portal by creating a login ID and password. Candidates will be required to pay a fee of INR 500 for each application.

Reservation of seats

As per the Delhi University admission policy, 50 percent of seats are reserved for minorities. CUET examinations will contribute a total of 85 percent marks whereas the remaining 15 percent marks will be decided by the college. Admission for the remaining 50 percent of seats will be held on the basis of CUET scores only.

The society was founded in 2013, and since then it has been working towards providing excellent internship opportunities to the aspiring students by collaborating with potential employers. Hindu College Scholarship

The scholarship programmes offered to students at Hindu College are as follows:

  • Premvati Raghubir Singh Scholarships - Two yearly scholarships of INR 700 is awarded to resident students for achieving 1st Division in the last examination conducted and to financially needy students.
  • R.B. Ram Kishan Dass Scholarships - Yearly 25 scholarships of INR 700 each are awarded to the financially weaker and deserving students enrolled in the college. However, they need to secure a minimum of 55% marks in the last conducted examination. This scholarship is applicable for a year.
  • Ch. Bhagwan Sahai Chauhan Memorial Scholarships - Students achieving the highest marks among the 1st Division holders form M.A. Sanskrit/ Hindi (P) and (F) are awarded yearly 1 scholarship of INR 300. A Chauhan Rajput student of B.A. (H) 1st/ 2nd/ 3rd year of Arts/ Humanities securing good division in the last examination conducted, are awarded a yearly scholarship of INR 300.
  • Rai Achhru Ram Scholarships - Every year 4 scholarships are awarded to M.A./ M.Sc. students of Hindu College based on merit. There are a total 4 scholarships of INR 850 each.
  • S.P. Raina Memorial Scholarship - Dedicated to the Hindu College Senior Faculty in English Late Shri S.P. Raina, 1 scholarship of INR 425, is awarded to a B.A. (H) 3rd year student belonging to the Arts/ Humanities/ Commerce department. The scholarship is granted based on 1st and 2nd year performance in the University exam.
  •  Lala Prem Lal Gupta Memorial Scholarship - This scholarship of INR 300 is granted on the basis of merit-cum-means. Every year 1 student will get this scholarship.
  • Rajiv Mehra Memorial Scholarship - It is a yearly scholarship awarded to the financially weak and deserving students not receiving any Government, University, College or any other scholarship. The scholarship is applicable for one year.
  • Master Sheoprasad Memorial Scholarship - it is a merit-cum-means based scholarship which is awarded for a year on a monthly basis to a BA/ B.Sc. Mathematics 2nd/ 3rd year student.
