Likes

The university provides internships in the University which is the best way to learn skills during the college.
Delhi university is known for its campus life which is no doubt best.
Canteen food is one of the best thing in Gargi college.
Fests and societies are best part of gargi because gargi is famous for their fests.
College life in gargi is awesome, although there is no hostel in it but still its great to just sit in the campus and enjoy all the facilities they provide us.
Events: University organise so many events and invite good speakers which provides with so many good oportunities to the students.
Campus was clean and good surrounding , faculty is also good , library , canteen.

Dislike

I am not aware of any scholarships or loan facilities offered by our college. I have also not availed myself of such opportunities.
The infrastructure was quite good, but there is a network problem in my college. I found it very difficult to call someone or search something on the internet. The hostel environment should be healthy; students just dont find themselves trapped.
My college does not provide any hostel facility, unlike the other colleges of Delhi University

Gargi college(DU)

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, the company starts visiting the college for placements. The college tries to get the best opportunities for the student to get placed. Top recruiting companies like KPMG, EY, Quality Council of India, Aditya Birla Group, NIIT, Jamboree, etc., visit our campus for placements.

Remarks:

The admission was on the basis of 12th marks no other special test conducted The application form can be found on the DU website. The sports quota seats are also their and the cutoff is also less for other categories like OBC, SC, and ST. The overall admission process is smooth.

my experience i gargi college

Placement Experience:

in the last year, you are available for a job. different companies come from across the world. many students got jobs from their needs. companies like EY etc come to the campus to give jobs to the students. many companies come and they take employees according to their needs. every student gets a job in one of the companies them. packages are according to the student's knowledge.

Remarks:

candidates applying for admission have to follow the below-mentioned steps, students have to register themselves on the common application portal after registration, and students can begin to fill out the online application form using their credentials. students must fill out the online application form with care as they will not be able to make any changes in the future. students are advised to carefully select the college and courses they want to opt for, ug programs. students need to attach certain documents while submitting the form as a photograph, signature, identity proof, etc. students need to pay the application fee at the time of submitting the form or else the online application form will not be considered. students can log in to their portals for any new updates, college cut-offs, and so forth. students who are accepted must report to the college where the cut-off percentage is met. the other documentation happened in the college.

Placement Experience:

From the beginning of the third year the students are eligible for campus placements and for the internship opportunities students can apply from the first year itself. A few companies that have visited and have made offers to the students of our college include Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. 80-85% of the students get placed. The average package of our college is 2 to 5 lakh per annum and the highest has gone up to 21 lakhs per annum

Remarks:

The eligibility of our course was on a merit basis. No need for an entrance exam was to be given. The application form is easily available on the DU portal and every detail regarding fees and dates is mentioned there. Reservations are provided in all the colleges at DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am doing my bachelor's in the field of life sciences, which includes zoology, botany, and chemistry why I chose this course because it is very vast, and as I was interested in the research field it provides all of this. The faculty is very good, all of them have done Ph.D. in their fields and the teaching method is based on a practical approach.

Class Size : 100Course Fees : INR 15600 per year

Remarks:

I gave CUET exam. It is based on the 12th syllabus the exam was very easy it was MCQ based. The application form is available on the NTA website you can fill the application form from there. The exam was held in two slots. The language test is compulsory other than a language one can opt for the subjects he/she had studied in class-12th.

Gargi -Is it worth your 4 years?

Placement Experience:

Students in the 5th sem become eligible for campus placements. 90 percent placements I have also got placement so I'll be joining the company after my college gets over. I have also planned to do an MBA in case I am able to crack the interview at B school.

Remarks:

Entrance Basis. All info was found on the DU website Fee was 1000 The results were released after a very long period of time which made me a lot more anxious. Even when the answer keys were released they were wrong and it created a situation of panic. After that, they removed the wrong answer keys and uploaded the rectified one.

Gargi Life

Placement Experience:

I'm still in my first year so I don't know about the placements. But the placement cell of GARGI COLLEGE is super active and provides students with a lot of opportunities for internships. A lot of students have been placed in huge companies such as Deloitte, KPMG, etc.

Remarks:

I got admission via CUET which was held for the first time under NEP. It was very stressful and the arrangements were very unorganized and poor. A lot of students faced defective systems due to which they were not able to complete the paper on time. The application form could be found on the Samarth website and the dates were postponed again and again which was not good for the students as they couldn't prepare accordingly.

Gargi College Best for Girls

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was interested to choose my course as b com. As I want to go for higher studies for MBA. The faculty was good. Well qualified. They give the study content and provide notes too. Not too difficult to pass the exams.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 22000 per year

Remarks:

For girls, it was a 1% reservation. The cut-off at that time was not too high. It was just 82%. As I was from a sports background I was easily got selected. As 5% was for the sports quota admissions. The admission was fair enough from the DU side as expected. It was great. The application form was easily available on Delhi University's official website.

Know Gargi DU

Placement Experience:

As I am currently in 4th semester so I didn't get any placement but yeah in the final year, I m definitely gonna take it as it was full of the package we expect according to the course and different companies come to college for placements and I think this is the best place for placement as college give you everything based you don't have to do anything just give an interview and group discussion. That's all.

Remarks:

As I was a passing out student in 2021 school so everything was online everything so there was so much an entrance exam for admission only 12th grades are to be considered for admission. On the Delhi university site, you can find everything relayed to admission and about any other query.

LIFE AT GARGI

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is good as the placement cell of Gargi is very active. In 4th sem, only college placement starts. Big4 company comes to Gargi college for placement. So yea placements are good for graduation level.

Remarks:

Cut off was 95.25 at my time. The admission process was smooth. I had taken admission first at Ramanujan college so I had to withdraw my admission from there by paying rs 500. And that day only I went to gargi for my admission.

Excellent college with quality education

Placement Experience:

Many good companies came up for placements like EY, Delloite, and KPMG. But I tried to focus on my studies first. But after completing of my graduation, I noticed many good companies hire you on the basis of the college or university you have studied in.

Remarks:

The admission procedure was very easy. After going through the cut-offs of all the colleges I saw which college my percentage fits into. Then went to Gargi college along with all the required documents and filled out the admission form. I took admission on the same day after submitting the fees.
