Zakir Husain College is one of the oldest colleges which is affiliated to DU. The college has been accredited Grade 'A' by NAAC. The college has experienced and highly qualified faculties which includes a total number of 25+ Associate Professor and 15+ Assistant Professor who are there to give proper guidance and knowledge to the students. 

Zakir Husain College offers UG and PG programs in several courses. Curriculums are provided in 3 streams, Arts, Science and Commerce. All of the courses are in full time and campus mode. The college has various departments under which the courses are offered.

Zakir Husain College Admission Process 2023

Candidates who wish to enroll for the UG courses are required to apply for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) whereas candidates who wish to apply for the PG courses are required to apply for the CUET PG. 

CUET application process

Candidates applying for UG courses in Zakhir Husain College can follow the following steps in order to register for the CUET: 

  • Candidates must visit the official CUET website that is: @cuet.samarth.ac.in. 
  • Upon opening the website candidates will find the ‘Register’ tab, they must click on it. 
  • After reading and understanding the information provided, candidates must hit the ‘Proceed’ button. 
  • After this, candidates will be directed to the application form. Candidates must fill in the required details carefully.

  • Mirza Mahmood Beg Memorial Scholarship: This scholarship is for undergraduates who secure the highest percentage of marks in the final year. An amount value of INR 1400 is awarded annually. 
  • Sri Narain Nigam Memorial Scholarship: There are three scholarships which are reserved for the handicapped students. The award value is INR 700, INR 1100 for Humanities and Social Sciences stream including Psychology and Commerce stream but excluding B.A. (Hons.) Mathematics and Science stream including B.A./B.Sc.
