From 2nd year, students often start looking for placements. For my course, the placement ranges from 5lac to 7lac. However for economics Hons., it may go above 16 lac. The companies who visited the college this year are- Zee Media, EdLighten, NTT Data, etc.
My admission was based on the percentage format. I applied for Sociology Hons. in the year 2021 and got admission to the Second Special Cut-off list. After that year, CUCET has been applied and the entire exam process has been revised totally.
Students can opt for campus placements in the final year of their courses but they can always go for internships right from their first year. Packages are good as we can also enroll in some government-funded national institutes.
At my time the admissions were completely merit based on the basis of 12th marks but now CUET is being introduced in Delhi University for admissions. The forms are available at nta site. CUET helps u not only to take admissions in DU but also in several other national and state university
The faculty of Political Science is best here in Miranda House. The classes are generally divided into sections to maintain good faculty: student ratio. This course provides you with a holistic understanding of political science and its sub-discipline. DU is the only university in India providing International Relations at the undergraduate level. This course would make one able to pursue a future in Civil services, academia, and other fields that require a better understanding of Polity. The faculty in miranda house doesn't take teaching lightly. Faculty is rich in knowledge, the best of DU, and dedicated. They provide the best services and expect the same from students. There are a total of 6 semesters in this course which makes for 6-semester exams the interval of 5 months and assignments and term papers in between the semester for mid-semester assessment.
Since 2022, there is CUET as the only option to get admission to the college. Earlier it was based on the percentage obtained in your class 12th. A situation that is still the same is that one has to get top marks in the cuet to get admission in Miranda House, as it is India's rank 1. One needs to follow the notification of CUET for admission-related notice. There are reservation criteria, providing relaxation for some numbers.
So for placements, there is a separate society in the college which deals with, the placement cell of MH. students are eligible for placements only after the completion of the course .90-95% from 3rd sem various companies like Accenture, DE shaw, TCS, unnati, etc. the highest package in 2021 was INR 19.2LPA. average package in 2021 was INR 5.5LPA. early 70- 90 % of students are placed my plans are to pursue a master's & then phD & then go abroad.
Eligibility of the course: you should have passed 12th from a recognized college. With a minimum of 60%. This year some changes have been done - there is now an entrance exam called CUET. after applying to du.admissions.com, there is a whole procedure for admission reservation- obc, sc, st, ews and some other minor categories are reserved for the benefit of students of weaker sections. To date, Miranda is known to be ranked 1 college of DU.
Students become eligible for campus placements in their last semester. The highest package offered here is 20 lakh per annum. Our college is more into academics and promotes higher education. I plan to pursue higher studies after my degree.
Eligibility for B.A. Economics Hons- Must have studied Maths and gave an exam for maths in Cuet. CUET Exam- The application form can be found on Cuet Portal and Samarth. Reservation not availed. The admission process at DU was efficient and detailed but took a long time (it was the first time for the CUET exam).
3/4 year students are eligible for campus placement names of companies who visited in college - tata motors, Microsoft and so many others. The highest package was gone 1200000 to 500000. 10 percentage of students get placement.
I am eligible for merit base. You can find the application form on the Delhi University site. If you belong to the general category then u don't have any reservation benefits and if you belong to other categories then definitely you have some benefit in admission.
Generally in the 6th-semester companies conduct interviews for different departments and whoever clears that interview gets selected, many companies visit every year to hire students for different posts and the average placement at my college is 10-14 lakhs per annum.
Previously it was based on class 12 percentage but now CUET entrance takes place. Nowadays everything is in online mode. Caste certificates and income certificates are accepted It became online which is more efficient.
I am pursuing B.Sc. Physics Honors as I have a keen interest in the research field, so I like to apply for physics only. The physics department faculty is quite good although the strength of our batch is too much but it is manageable. The faculty is good and make us understand very easily. As we are from the Covid batch so our previous semesters were quite short say 3 or 4 months course, but now again it's a complete course.
My admission comes under the Covid batch. The admission process was completely online based on class 12th marks and practical's exams. I am currently pursuing B.Sc. H Physics whose applying percentage was 96.2 only.
I opted for this course because it offers two disciplines to study together. Also, it is very helpful if one is preparing for competitive exams like UPSC and so on. Being the first rank college in India and faculty members of the college are just amazing and are masters in their field. The eighth semester has an internal assessment followed by a semester examination which is not very easy, unlike other colleges for BA.
I got admission based on my merit of class 12th, in which I was supposed to match the cut-off percentage of the selected course I applied for. I also got the reservation of the OBC non-cream layer category with my percentage being 95.6. The process of admission to this university has now been changed and now there is an entrance exam for each course.
In 4th semester students are eligible for placement. We have well-developed placement cells for better functioning, and big companies like Amazon, and Google, were visited our college. The average package is 7.2 lakhs. Almost 80-90% of students get placement every year. I go for a Master's further
I took admission through merit because I got 96 percent in 12th, but in the year 2022, we need to register for CUET, you have to visit the official exam site. You have to score good marks in the CUET exam for admission to Miranda House. The application fee is 650 for general. I belong to OBC so I got admission with fewer marks than the general.
