Delhi College of Arts and Commerce is a co-educational institute affiliated with Delhi University. The college is located in Netaji Nagar in the South campus of Delhi University. DCAC is accredited by NAAC with a grade of ‘B+’ and is ranked 34th in the Arts Department by India Today 2022. Similarly, Outlook 2022 has also ranked Delhi College of Arts and Commerce 22nd in the Commerce category. 

DCAC has 12 departments; 11 UG programmes are offered under these departments. Admission into the UG programme is now based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) followed by e-counseling. In addition, the college also offers certificate courses in 2 disciplines: Basic course in Mass Media and add-on course in German Language. 

Delhi College of Arts and Commerce has a placement cell as well which is named ‘Broadway’. This placement cell works towards preparing the students for the corporate world. The placement cell is tasked with organizing placement drives every year and inviting top companies to offer its students the best internship and job opportunities. DCAC Admission Process 2023 

DCAC college offers admission to the several UG courses, all of which are offered under multiple disciplines. Admission to these courses are based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) score. Candidates can apply via the online registration method from the official website @cuet.samarth.ac.in. The application fee for CUET is INR 600 for the general category and INR 550 for SC/ST/PWbD/ category. 

  • Admission to DCAC UG courses will be granted on the basis of the candidate’s CUET score followed by e-counselling. 
  • Candidates are required to register for e-counselling via the online platform. E-counselling will contain 2 rounds where students will be able to choose the college that they want to opt for. 
  • Students will be granted admission into DCAC based on their CUET scores.
  • Sports and Extracurricular Activities: Candidates will be required to appear for a performance test along with the CUET entrance examinations. Selection of candidates for ECA will be made on a combination of the CUET examination score and the candidate’s performance test. Candidates must have a minimum of 25 percent score on their CUET and a minimum of 75 percent score on their performance test.

Delhi College of Arts & Commerce Scholarship

The college provides financial help to the students who are deserving and economically weak. For the financial aid the college approves applications and students must submit it before the deadline. This scholarship facility is for the students who are academically good. Some of the services are given below: 

  • Post- matric Scholarship: This scholarship is for the students who belong to the reservation categories and it is granted by Directorate Education, Delhi Administration, Delhi. Students who reside in other states need to apply for their application immediately after the admission. 
  • Scholarship for the Honours Course: Delhi University every year conducts a competitive examination, All India Entrance Scholarship. The reward value of this aid is INR 250 per month for the three years for Honours course.   • Library: The DCAC College has a well stocked library that holds a collection of 59,715 books and subscriptions of 30 magazines/journals and 14 newspapers. The library also has the facility of DEL NET and N-LIST subscription. The library organises a book exhibition in which students are helped to find the required books at a discount. 
  • Medical Aid Room: The College has a well equipped medical aid room with a paramedic on duty. The medical room has all the basic medicines that are usually required to treat common ailments, a blood pressure monitor, a pulse monitor, a stretcher and two wheelchairs for emergency purposes.
