Delhi University BFA admission 2024 for all affiliated colleges is expected to start in the month of June 2024. Admission to the BFA program will be based on scores obtained in the CUET UG examination, conducted by NTA. CUET UG 2024 exam will be held from May 15 to May 31, 2024. Registrations for BFA admission at DU affiliated colleges will be done through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS UG) Portal @ugadmission.uod.ac.in. BFA offered at Delhi University is a full-time course divided into 8 semesters.
Applied Art, Painting, Art History, Print-Making, Sculpture, and Visual Communication are the 6 specializations offered in this course.
College of Arts DU gives emphasis on practical studio work, the thorough study of prescribed theory subjects, and research work in selected fields.

Delhi University BFA Eligibility Criteria

Any candidate seeking admission in the Bachelor of Fine Arts Program by Delhi University should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with 50% or more marks in the aggregate of five subjects.
Any candidate with a compartment is not eligible for the program.
A concession of 5% marks in minimum eligibility is given to:
- Candidates who have taken Graphic Design, Drawing, Painting, Sculpture or Applied Art as one of the subjects in their qualifying examination.
- For SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates.
- For Widows and/ or children of Armed Personnel/ Para-Military Forces.
- For Persons with Disabilities.
- Forwards of Kashmiri Migrants.

Delhi University BFA Admission Criteria

Candidates applying for BFA admission at Delhi University must clear the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG). Those who qualify the entrance examination will be required to register on Delhi University’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal for seat allocation. The admission process includes three phases, in the first phase aspirants are required to fill the CSAS portal by visiting the official website – ugadmission.uod.ac.in. Phase 2 includes filling out programs and college preferences and seat allotment will be done in the third phase. The university will be conducting multiple rounds of seat allocation based on the colleges and programs combination filled by students. Selected candidates then can choose to accept/freeze or upgrade their seats by the given date. Upon acceptance of a seat, the respective college will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the fee payment.

DU BFA Application Process Through CUET UG

Candidates must visit the official CUET UG official website - cuet.samarth.ac.in.
Upon opening the website candidates will find the ‘Register’ tab, they must click on it.
After reading and understanding the information provided, candidates must hit the ‘Proceed’ button.
After this, candidates will be directed to the application form. Candidates must fill in the required details carefully.
After filling the necessary details candidates will have to upload important documents such as signature, photograph, marksheet, etc. Candidates must upload all the required documents.
Candidates need to pay the application fee at the time of submitting the form or else the Online Application Form will not be considered.
After submitting the fee, candidates print out the form and save a hard copy for future reference.

Click on “Register” in the menu bar.

85% seats are sanctioned for students from the Delhi region including the general category students and special category students and 15% seats are sanctioned to students outside the Delhi region.
All the programs are divided into 8 semesters out of which the first two semesters are part of the foundation course and the rest of the 6 semesters are specializations.
The foundation course is the same for all streams. The objective of this intensive one-year course is to provide fundamental training in Art and Design.
