My brother did his M.Tech from NITC. Here is his insight into the general placement scenario for MTech at NITs. Over the years it has been seen that the placements for M.Tech students are comparatively less as most of the companies demand B.Tech graduates as the freshers or even experienced candidates. However, in some cases, M.Tech students are considered, like in research and development-oriented jobs. However, most industries prefer B.Tech over M.Tech. After pursuing M.Tech your area gets narrower due to which the situation becomes very tricky for both the employers and the candidates applying for. As far as all the colleges are concerned the placement statistics are not so good for M.Tech students. In the recent placement drives, the average CTC offered at NIT Warangal, NIT Trichy and NIT Surathkal were respectively 21 LPA, 6 LPA, and 11 LPA.

They are offered salary packages ranging from 12-24 LPA, depending on their skills. Sometimes it rises up to 50 LPA. These companies not only check academic credentials but also their TopCoder and GitHub profiles. Some even opt to be managers, their jobs demand and value academic credentials. They receive salary packages ranging from 15-18 LPA. The placements at both colleges are good. Make a calculative decision considering the field you are interested in.

You can go for NIT Warangal for civil. But, if you prefer CSE then go for JNTUH, Hyderabad. With your rank, you can easily get into NIT Warangal. Your future is safe in both the colleges as they provide the best exposure. But, if you fetch NIT Warangal via your JEE Main AIR of JOSAA counseling, you will definitely get branches like ECE, EEE at any of the top 7 NIT. And, that would be a better option. Do not worry much and simply go for the JOSAA counseling. If TS EAMCET counseling is limiting then secure your seat in the choice of branch of yours at JNTUH. NIT Warangal has an active placement cell named Centre for Career Planning & Development (CCPD) that conducts placement drives every year. Students receive lucrative salary packages during the placement drive. The Institute is conducting its placement drive for the batch 2023 and till now 1000 Job offers have been made. The highest Package offered was INR 88 LPA whereas the Average Package & Median Package stood at INR 17.29 LPA and INR 16 LPA respectively.

Over 1,300 students were successfully placed and 50 students were placed into PSUs. A total of 253 recruiters took part in 2023 placements including 11 Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). More than 40% of the total companies were first-time recruiters. In addition, 408 students in total obtained internship offers from a variety of reputable firms.

Placement Experience:

Talking about placements, that is cache, Cse avg package in 2023 is 32 lakhs per annum so u can rate about college avg package as 15 lakhs per annum. Almost 95 per cent of the total students placed with a pretty good package. The highest package this year is 88 lakh and the lowest is 6.5 lakhs.

Internships Opportunities:

Almost all top companies came to nit warangal placement drives like Amazon, Microsoft, Deshaw, uber, Salesforce, Oracle, and many more for sale, data analysts role in their company. They give internships also in 3rd year of your graduation.

Nit Warangal - better than iits

Placement Experience:

We can say placements are the head of this campus. This year we have 1500+ placements with an average package of 35lpa (cse) which is greater than many iits. Almost every company comes for placement as well as for an internship. Almost every cse student will get an internship and also will be placed.

Internships Opportunities:

There are tons of companies and opportunities for students to get internships. About 200+ companies will acquire students from nit Warangal every year. Stipends are also high. Some of the companies are Microsoft -1.25lpm, amazon-1.2lpm, Goldman Sachs - 1.5lpm and many more. Normal preparation, of course, subjects is enough to grab an internship.

Placement Experience:

There will be a Cgpa cutoff for every company. Placements are very good here as it is a top NIT There will be a number of companies visiting both for interns and placements. This year's highest package is around 80 lakhs and the average is around 25 lakhs for cse. In cse 99.9 percent gets placed.

Internships Opportunities:

There will be a lot of companies coming for several roles. Sde, analyst, etc are mostly preferred, Many top-tier companies like D.E.Shaw come here and recruit. Stipend will also be good considering the company you join.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are great here. From the first semester of fourth-year placements start. If you don't have any backlogs and have a minimal idea of your curriculum your probability of getting placement is high. Many big companies like Oracle, Amazon, Salesforce, Microsoft etc visit us and give large numbers of offers based on their need. In Cse highest package was of 65 lac and average is around 20 to 25 lac . In Cse nearly 95% get placed. I wanna do a job which I will get in campus placement.

Internships Opportunities:

Many companies visit on campus for internships you can avail of internships if you don't have any backlog, resume shortlisting will be done first then followed by a written test, and then technical and hr interviews based on companies will be conducted.
