But if we compare among the three then IIT BHU and IIT Guwahati beats DTU, in terms of placement average, highest CTC, number of recruiters, number of international offers, etc. For branches like CSE/IT the average CTC offered at IIT BHU, IIT Guwahati, and DTU last year was INR 25 LPA, INR 20 LPA, and INR 11.17 LPA. For core branches, only top IITs, BITS and some reputed state colleges like Jadavpur University offer decent placement opportunities. So, for core placement, DTU is way behind IIT BHU and Guwahati. DTU brings some good core recruiters but these are very few in number compared to the number of students. So, the competition to get core placements is too high at DTU.

How are the placements of environmental engineering at DTU?

The placements of environmental engineering at DTU are great. According to the placement highlights of 2019, the environmental engineering department received a total of 38 placement offers and 27 students from the department got placed. The highest CTC received by the students of this department was around 16 LPA in this academic season. In the past students of environmental engineering received placement packages up to 25 lakhs per annum. The company offering the package was Brother Industries and the post was software developer. Students are offered lucrative packages at reputed firms such as ZS, MuSigma, Deloitte, UHG, Practo, RNF, Printvenue, etc. These companies offer average placement packages of around 5-6 lakhs per annum for non-tech posts. However, placements are not too promising for core companies. But a number of software firms, consultancies, analytics, R&D, finance MNCs visit the campus for placement sessions.

How are the placements of mechanical engineering students at DTU?

The placement statistics of Delhi Technical University are not declared by the training and placement department of the institute. But they do reveal the high- level packages that their students grab from reputed companies in Crores. The no. of internship offers made to the students of Mechanical branch was 20. For the M. tech programme in Mechanical Engineering, the no. of offers made was 28 and about 22 students got placed. The highest CTC offered was about 8 Lakhs per annum. A student will get ample opportunities at DTU and it depends upon his potential to grab the best offer based on his hard-work

DTU a good college for placements and college life

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible after the 6th semester for placements and they can go for interns from the 3rd semester. Companies here are Microsoft, apple, meta, Netflix, Hotstar, adobe, and Goldman Sachs. In the year 2022, more than 2000 packages are given. The highest domestic package was given by apple india 60lacs and the average package was 20lacs. around 95 percent of students are placed. I'm planning to do coding so that placed in good companies.

Internships Opportunities:

Last year a total of 440 internships were given to students of this college. students from the second year can avail internship if they are eligible for it and they are good enough in coding terms. Projects are given and the cell of DTU is also big enough.

DTU- Dream of JEE aspirants

Placement Experience:

Placements at our college our is quite good various MNC companies visit our campus like Google Microsoft Amazon. The highest offer in the previous placement season stood at 1.2CR per annum and the average package was around 15LPA. The sprinkler was the company that gave the highest stipend for an internship which was 2lac/month. More than 82% of students are placed rest go for either higher education or government exams preparation. My plan after getting the degree is to be placed in a Good MNC with a decent package.

Internships Opportunities:

Internship opportunities are also very good in our college companies hire interns at the start of the 5tg semester and give them a decent stipend ranging from 70000/month in Atlassian to 2lac/month at Sprinkler. PSUs also visit our campus for hiring interns. Many students get PPOs after completion of their intern tenure which gives them peace of mind while actual placements. Many research institutes like DRDO ISRO also visit to hire researchers onboard with them.

DTU has one of the best placement opportunities in India with an average package 18 lahks and highest package of 2 crore so many companies come to hire students some of them are Google, IBM, Microsoft, uber and so many DTU has placement has 98% for CS/IT/SE branch and for another branch there are like 99% placement I am planning to get placement or I'll start my startup after getting a degree

Internships Opportunities:

Many companies turn up for internships at DTU. Depending on the branch you are from, there are companies for Computer Science, IT, ECE, EE, Mechanical and other departments.
