Gujarat University Scholarships

SHODH (system of developing high-quality research)

This scholarship is provided by Gujarat University to financially support students conducting qualitative research. Full-time research scholars receive funding under this program, which amounts to INR 15,000 per month.

Additionally, the University provides financial aid for post secondary education for students who are part of the Mukhymantri Yuva Swavlamban Yojana. Gujarat University scholarships are also provided to the members of the lower backward class or SC/ST for better education and financial support. The university covers more than 30 scholarship programs launched by the Gujarat government.

Library: Gujarat University has a huge stock in the library. It has a total number of 1,700 books and 170 periodicals. The Gujarat University Reading Centre is connected with the university central library building. Around 400 students can get the reading facility at the Reading Centre at a time.

My experience as a student at Somlalit college of commerce: A candid review

The eligibility criteria for the course were 10+2. I found the application form on the official portal of Gujrat University. There are a lot of improvements that can be done to ease the admission process as the process is very confusing and it gets quite chaotic.

I chose this course as it is related to accounting, and I am fond of Accountancy. Our college has at least ten teachers for the batch of 600 students. We have 4 exams every year, they aren't that difficult to pass.

K.S - a learning place

When I took the admission, it was fully online mode. The admissions were done on the basis of merit and on a first, come first basis. The forms were available on the website of Gujarat university. 3 merits rounds were held and a total of around 300 students were selected.

I selected is MBA and the faculties here are too good. The teaching method is most of the time on board but practical assignments are provided and presentations are used to understand the heavy topics. Exams are taken 2 times per semester, mid-sem and end-sem. Apart from that. There are class tests and similar tests.

Talking about Eligibility course for admission the candidate should passed out 12th standard. Students all over the India can apply for the admission. Reservation benefits were not availed by me. All admission is however good enough and as per my views I don't think any improvement needed in Admission process because the whole process is of online, so there is a saving of time and money. It reduces the paper work since all the process are in electronic platform. It helps the students to apply for the admission from anywhere, I mean there is any restriction on admission. Gujarat University is one of the best university in Gujarat, recognisable as a job providing and also many other campaigns started in GU for the youngst

The course is good enough for me. I have been going for the simple course since I am pursuing Professional Course so to avoid the hectic schedule I have gone for the BCom. The faculties members are good and have good concept knowledge
