If I talk about placement most of students here got placed. You will get many many internship opportunities if you able to clear those tests then you can take internship in 2nd year only. And from 4th year you will be eligible for jobs.
You can take admission with or without admission test. If you want to take scholarship you can give CUCET test. You can avail upto 100% scholarship if you score good. You can also get scholarship on the base of your 12th marks. If you have good marks in your class 12th you can get good scholarship. For applyig for CUCET you have to follow following steps 1: Login on their official website (cucet.cuchd.in) 2: Choose the running phase of CUCET 3: Register by filling your name , address, email , contact and city 4: Choose the discipline or program that interests you. 5: Create the profile after regestration 6: After successfull regestration a confirmation mail will be sent to you. 7: After regestration you can download the e-Prospectus by paying 1000/- rupees. 8: Fill the form for the entrance test. Here from 6th semester student are eligible for campus placement . And companies are start to coming. Here average package is lie between 3-4 lakh. Chandigarh University claims that every year here more than 500 companies visit to campus for placement more than 7500 offer were given last year. I also want to sit in their placement.
If you want to take admission to Chandigarh University then you have to to give their scholarship test also called the admission test named CUCET (Chandigarh University common entrance test) in which you have to score well for getting a good scholarship. The fee for this CUCET exam is Rs 1000. You will get the application form on their official website.
I chose this course because I was passionate about computers and from my childhood I loved to work with computers. Teachers' student ratio is good there are two sections for both classes and on average ratio will be 1:40. Faculty members are quite good and they don't build much pressure on the students and force them to be a better version of themselves. Mid-semester tests are conducted after a month and there are two mid-semester tests after the Final End Semester exam starts. If you pay attention in class the notes are enough to pass the exam and they also provide study materials.
For eligibility, one must pass all subjects in 12th, and after that, a small entrance test will be taken in which you have to score more than 30 and from these marks, you will get the scholarship. They have certain criteria made for giving scholarships. You also have the option to get a scholarship from your class 12th grade, if you get more scholarships from class 12th marks or the entrance test(CUCET) you can choose anyone who is providing you more scholarship amount. Taking admission is a hassle-free and quiet easy process, there is an admission cell that will help you at any point needed during applying. If you get the scholarship amount you will have to maintain a minimum 7.5 CGPA for your scholarship to be an active whole year and I personally think it is a good way because it will force students to study and save their scholarships. One improvement in the admission cell must be that it should increase the number of employees in the admission cell because there are thousands of students calling at the same time.
After 3rd-year students are eligible for getting placed in any company and also university provides better classes for facing the interview round. The highest package of the college is 36 lakhs and the average package is 5 lakhs. A maximum of 60-70% of students are getting placed. My plan is also the same, to get placed in a reputed IT company.
There is an entrance exam named cucet for Chandigarh university, where you can get up to 100% scholarship. You can take the admission online also. But there is some problem in management because they are not able to describe the students about classes very well. There are no limits to taking admission.
