Course Details
LPU MA English is a two-year program divided into 4 semesters to train students in creative and journalistic writing. Admission is offered to students based on LPUNEST score. LPU MA English is provided to students on distance and regular mode. Online remote examinations will be held in such a situation as COVID-19. LPU MA English Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must pass with 50% aggregate grades in Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination.
- 5% reduction to North-East states/ Sikkim applicants/ Defense Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Emigrants.
- 10% reduction to exceptional Sports Individuals that are A or A+ category as per Sports Scholarship which is subject to authentication from Selection committee of the University.

LPU MA English Admission 2024
The admission criteria of the LPU MA English are based on Merit in the previous qualifying examination.
Step 1 Signup:
- Register onto LPUADMIT with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password). Your email id will act as your username for the portal and password will be set by you while registering on the portal.
- You will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this.
- Login to the LPUADMIT with already created username/ password.
Step 2 Application for Admission:
- Fill the application form.
- Select your programme from the Available Programme List.
- Deposit initial payment of Rs.10000 .After the successful realization of the payment:
- A Unique Provisional Registration No. will be generated and sent to your registered Email ID.
- Upload the documents.
- Recent Photograph
- Date of Birth proof (Matric certificate, Aadhaar card)
- Qualifying exam Certificate/ Marksheet
- Apply for residential / mess / transportation / parking facility as per the requirement.
- All the submitted documents are to be verified from the originals within the prescribed timelines.
- Deposit the balance fee within the timelines prescribed by the university.
- Deposit initial payment of Rs.10000 .After the successful realization of the payment:
Step 3 Apply for LPUNEST for Scholarship:
The LPUNEST is an online examination for scholarships and candidates can gain scholarships based on performance in this exam.
- Deposit the examination fee:
- A fee of the Application form and Soft copy of the LPUNEST Kit is INR 1000 for Boys and INR 500 for Girls.
- The fee of the Application form and LPUNEST Kit is INR 1500 for Boys and INR 1000 for Girls.
- The candidate must then fill the examination application form.
Step 4 Book the examination slot and appear in the test:
- The candidate must book the slot of date and time comfortable by them to appear in the Online Remotely Proctored LPUNEST Examination.
- The applicant must appear and succeed in the examination.
- The result of this Scholarship examination and the amount of it will be declared within 24 hours after the examination is conducted.

- Qualifying examination Certificate or Mark sheet.
If an applicant is claiming for a scholarship based on qualification preceding eligibility qualification.
- The candidate must Apply for residential, mess, transportation, parking amenity according to the requirement.

- Deposit the remaining fee within the period agreed by the university.
