Course Details

Annamalai University admission 2023 will be based on NEET UG scores followed by counselling. NEET UG 2023 result has been announced on June 12. Candidates who appeared for the entrance examination can check their results through the official website – neet.nta.nic.in. The counselling schedule will be released soon.

Annamalai University offers the Bachelor of Dental Surgery program through the ‘Faculty of Dentistry’ at Rajah Muthiah Dental College & Hospital. The duration of the BDS program is 5 years including a mandatory internship.

Annamalai University BDS Eligibility

In order to be eligible for BDS admission at Annamalai University, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

Must have passed the 10+2 examination from the recognized board with a minimum of 50% (40% for SC/ST/OBC) of marks.
Must have Physics, Chemistry Biology (PCB) subjects in their last qualifying examination
Must have appeared in the NEET-UG with minimum scores.

Admission to the BDS course is offered on the basis of scores/ rank obtained in the NEET UG. Students are required to register themselves for counselling conducted by the Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got this course as I didn't fetch a medical seat. The faculty ratio is so good that they've arranged specific mentors for three students each to take care of them teaching-wise, The practical sessions are so good and very practical. And the teachers assist us with every single process beforehand.
