NIT Durgapur Ranking 2022: NIRF, The Week

The National Institute of Technology, Durgapur is one of the best engineering institutes in India which has made its recognition not only in India but at the global level too. Recently, NIT Durgapur has been ranked at the 713rd position by the US News Engineering Rankings 2021. Apart from these, the institute has also secured various other top positions among the national ranking agencies of India such as NIRF Rankings, Outlook-ICARE Rankings, THE WEEK Rankings and many others.

In the NIRF Rankings 2022, NIT Durgapur has seen a better performance in its ranks as compared to the rankings of previous year. The institute has been ranked at the 72nd and 34th position in the NIRF Overall Rankings and NIRF Engineering Rankings. Also, the institute has maintained its 24th position among The Week Best Technical Universities India Rankings 2021.

Internships Opportunities:

Many companies come in college like amazon Microsoft Vedanta Accenture tata reliance and you got a stipend from these companies but you need to make a good project and also you need to crack companies' exam

The placement was good you can imagine by seeing the average package is 11.32 lakh. 44 students got a 47lakh package which is amazing and more than 89% of students got placed. My plan is to get a job after getting a degree

The highest package is offered by Microsoft which is 55 LPA and the average package is 11 LPA. various job profiles are offered in various branches. Journey begins to become an engineer

There are so many multinational companies i.e. Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, TCS, Mahindra, Suzuki, Google, etc. visits our institute and many students got placed every year with such huge package and internship facilities is also available for students after the 5th semester that may be paid or tutorial for getting experienced in their respective fields and also got a certificate for their internship program.

Placement Experience:

A student can apply for placement from the 5th semester, placement is very much impressed with an average of 8.5 lakh per annum Most of the multinational companies visit our campus for placement like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, TCS, Mahindra, and manufacturing industries and petroleum, and petrochemical industries also. The percentage of students got placed every year is different in general from the CSE branch 95.4% of students got placed and chemical 88.8% and other branches also provide a high percentage of placement I will join one company first then after being stable in my life I will try to make my village better by providing some facilities as there is a very less number of children getting education of higher studies
