Examinations for MA I & II semesters are conducted in two sessions i.e. October-November & December-January respectively. Results for I & II semesters are declared on the official RBUDDE portal in the months of January-February & March-April. Rabindra Bharati University Distance Education

Rabindra Bharati Directorate of Distance Education was established in 2002 and since then the center is providing the following courses:

  • Hostel: The University has five student hostels at present, two for the boys (one for SC/ST boys), and three for the girls. Construction work for another boys’ hostel is in progress. The total intake capacity in the boy’s hostel is 145 and the girl’s hostels can accommodate 50 boarders. Nevertheless, the university does not guarantee hostel accommodation for every outstation student.
  • Library: Rabindra Bharati University Library system consists of the Central Library, Sangeet Bhavan Library, and departmental libraries attached to academic departments.
  • Health Care Centre: Medical Unit was opened at Emerald Bower Campus on 17.02.2000 to give good medical services to the students, teachers, and non-teaching staff.
  • NSS: In the NSS camp programme, the students-volunteers are actively involved in various activities such as plantation of saplings; campus-cleaning, and anti-pollution campaigns in and around the University campus. They are also involved in the mass-literacy (Sarba-Siksha Abhijan) campaign among the poor people of neighboring localities. Awakening of the health and social awareness program is another area of NSS performance.
  • Bank Facility: A branch of State Bank of India is available at the university campus.
