MACFAST Admissions

Admission to Mar Athanasios College for Advanced Studies Tiruvalla is based on either merits or entrance exam scores followed by group discussion and personal interview. 

  • For MBA admissions

Eligibility: Graduation degree with 55% marks in Science & Technology subjects and 50% marks in other subjects in the aggregate for all parts of the examination. OR Master’s Degree with 55% marks in aggregate.

Selection criteria: CMAT/KMAT/CAT Score.

  • For MCA admissions (Both Regular and Lateral)

Eligibility: 10+2 with maths + BCA Degree OR 55% aggregate marks in Graduation with (with Mathematics / Statistics (This does not include Business Mathematics or Business Statistics) / Computer Science / Computer Application / Engineering and Technology as a Main / Subsidiary / Core / Complementary). 

Selection criteria: Admissions are made on the basis of merit in qualifying exam and personal interview.

  • For M.Sc admissions

Eligibility: 50% aggregate marks with a relevant degree.

Selection criteria: Admission to all M.Sc specializations is through Common Entrance Test (CET).

How to apply?

The application process of MACFAST is conducted online. Applicants need to:

  • Download the application form from the official website or they may also collect the application form from the administration office.
  • There are separate forms for MBA and MCA. Fill the form correctly.
  • Pay the application fee of INR 450 (approx) and submit the application form with all the required documents.

- Kerala Entrance allotment memo, Entrance Hall ticket

Ques. Does MACFAST give admission to International Students too? What is the process of admission for them?

Ans. Yes, there are vacancies for international students too. International students with the following eligibility can apply:

(a) A minimum of twelve years of study for an undergraduate program. 

(b) A course of study at the first degree level of a three-year duration in the relevant subject of study is required for postgraduate programs. 

The international students are required to submit the application (offline)directly to the Director of the concerned University Department(through registered post) by paying US$ 100 by way of Demand Draft / Pay order / any other instrument (which does not involve collection charges on the part of the University) in favour of Finance Officer, Mahatma Gandhi University. There is no online registration facility for foreign students.
