I am going to apply for an internship in Amazon karigar, Etsy, and IKEA according to my expertise and knowledge. Sustainability for design. Artisan projects by Amazon, Etsy, and IKEA. Research projects by various companies also.
At the end of 4th sem, you can get an internship in any company their highest package goes around 40 lacks per annum Around 80% of students got placed in various companies and startups. My plan after getting the degree is to start my own brand.
Nike, Arvind, Aditya Birla, Design studios others system thinking tools and design method tools are taught this course is a research-based course. Read the prospectus of Mdes before deciding to come here. 4 different depending specialisation: curation, social design, ui UX and strategic management design
Placements are there in college. but Mdes started very recently. I'm the second batch on this campus in 2022. it started in 2021. our seniors have not GRATUATED yet. I'll find a good job .. with my own skill college prepares me for that
We had to do 3 internships before placements. Mostly we find our internships. 90% of the time it is unpaid. College helps us find internships only in case of no company taking you in. One is a textile internship, then an Apparel and retail internship, and then a graduation and research project.
4th year is actually when the placements start. NIFT makes sure you get a job but doesn't make sure that it is a good one. I think the average package for this course is somewhere around 6-9lpa and the highest is not more than 15.
Usually, we need to apply for internships on our own. It can vary from hardcore design studios to advertising or fashion agencies. The usual stipend is 10,000-15,000 for master's students. For undergraduates, it could vary from 5,000 to 10,000.
Students in PG become eligible in the third sem. Major companies are Aravind mills, satva consulting, Myntra, target, Aditya Birla, etc. The average package is 4 lac and the highest is 10-12 lacs. Students can get into visual design, brand management, graphic design, UI UX design, trend forecaster, etc. I plan on getting a job and working as a UI UX designer.
Many homegrown labels provide internships to us and we prefer to go to a place suggested by our teachers and seniors. The stipend can vary from unpaid to 10 or 15k per month. You should have a portfolio and the requirements for the internship
Students in the 7th semester are qualified for placement. Some major companies come to our college but the offer is not very high. Not many of the students get into campus placement. The highest might be around 11 LPA and the lowest around 2-3 LPA. I plan on my masters after this
It was provided by the college only, we have given some contact details of people from different companies from our college but some of us have joined on our own. The internship was for 1 month and we have done its work from home as it was COVID time.
I think they should work on their placement thing because many students from my batch didn't get any placement. Companies were so defined and they were not at all related to accessories design. We got helpless at that time. Many of us haven't got the placement from the campus.
Students have to apply for their own to get an internship. They have to make various case studies and have to travel and make to learn about the lifestyle and various traditional clothes of different people living at different locations, States in our country to connect with their culture at ground level. There are the required projects which have to be done to get a good offer.
The placements are decent. Students can avail of placements opportunities as they are in their final year, and almost every student gets placed in the college. I would go for the post-graduation course after completing my degree.
Internship opportunities are offered to students by the college from the 5th semester with cluster activities as well which prepares students to know about the industry they would be working with helping them know about their work.
There are reputed companies offering placements, like Raymond, and Reliance, and more reputed companies offering great positions. Moreover, the maximum package includes 11lpa with a minimum of 5 LPA.
Companies that come in NIFT for placements are Sahi exports, Arvind mills, Siyaram's, Raymond, etc. We have 3 major internships during our course, in the 4th semester, 6th semester, and 8th semester respectively. In the 8th semester, you have to make a graduation project, which will help you in placements, and also consider as the main component of placement.
11 Lpa is the highest package offered with a minimum of around 5-6 Lpa. About 97% of students receive placement every year. Reputed companies like Reliance, Raymond, and many more offer various posts to students.
80% of my seniors were got placed with many great big companies like Gucci, Grazia and many more with the highest package of 7-8 lpa but can go up to 10-11 lpa, the lowest package is 3 lpa and the average is ~4.5 lpa. Almost every student gets internship easily with big brands as visual merchandiser, graphic designer, fashion photographer, stylist and etc. roles are offered.

There was a basic entrance exam with Maths, GK, English, and reasoning. You had to be from a PCM background and application forms were out on the official website. There are reservations similar to other colleges and domicile reservations as well. It was good.
ASBy - Alice SinhaMust be the 12th pass. The application can be done from the Nift website and usually happens at the end of December or January. And the fees are between 1000 to 1500. There are seats reserved from SC, ST and OBC. The admission process is just fine.
SBy - StudentThe admission process is quite simple. Nift organises an annual exam for admission. Reservation is also present for SC/ST and OBC category students to promote lower-class education as provided by the government.
