My college operates on an updated curriculum, and towards the end of each semester, we visit different industries such as garment finishing and dyeing, based on the subjects we study.
Yes, it provides internships. They provide internships according to the work of a student. If he or she is quite good in their work, then the colleges provide internships to the student. Afterwards, we can say these colleges are quite good as I have experienced.
Placements are good but cannot guarantee 100%, however, the course will make you perfect to thrive in the industry so that no one will be jobless.
Yeah, there is a semester-wise scholarship offered to people who cant afford the fees, and the eligibility criteria for it are based on the parental income.
The ratio of girls is really high compared to guys. Nift has extremely talented people in designing courses, which leads to extravagant fashion shows.
Yes, the girls hostel is very good. It doesnt feel like a college hostel, as all the facilities are provided with 100% security.
Good ambiance, but the food could be better. Nescafe is awesome. There is no place for sports, but students still manage their own cleanliness, which is amazing in college.

The brief overview of NIFT

Placement Experience:

4th year is actually when the placements start. NIFT makes sure you get a job but doesn't make sure that it is a good one. I think the average package for this course is somewhere around 6-9lpa and the highest is not more than 15.

Remarks:

There was a basic entrance exam with Maths, GK, English, and reasoning. You had to be from a PCM background and application forms were out on the official website. There are reservations similar to other colleges and domicile reservations as well. It was good.

Wanna do F.tech? - GO NIFT!

Placement Experience:

The placements are decent. Students can avail of placements opportunities as they are in their final year, and almost every student gets placed in the college. I would go for the post-graduation course after completing my degree.

Remarks:

The admission process is quite simple. Nift organises an annual exam for admission. Reservation is also present for SC/ST and OBC category students to promote lower-class education as provided by the government.

One of the best fashion institutes

Placement Experience:

There are reputed companies offering placements, like Raymond, and Reliance, and more reputed companies offering great positions. Moreover, the maximum package includes 11lpa with a minimum of 5 LPA.

Remarks:

Eligibility of course is science background in 12th. The process of admission is well-planned. Application forms can be found on the official site with all the necessary details like dates and more. There is an entrance exam conducted

Best fashion technology Institute in India.

Placement Experience:

11 Lpa is the highest package offered with a minimum of around 5-6 Lpa. About 97% of students receive placement every year. Reputed companies like Reliance, Raymond, and many more offer various posts to students.

Remarks:

There is an entrance exam conducted by NIFT, for our course ( B.Ftech ), but there is a condition for appearing in NIFT ( B.Ftech ) entrance exam, that students must have PCM in their 12th boards. Entrance is not very easy to qualify but not very hard, you can make it if you are good at maths ( arithmetic ), and English and have some general knowledge and current affairs related to the fashion retail industry. There are reservation quotas for every class of people, you will get allocated your seat according to your category-based rank. All details you can find on the official website of NIFT.

LIFE AS AN NIFTIAN

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had a keen interest in fashion and wanted to do something which streamlined my science background. And I found this course exciting and challenging simultaneously, which made me choose this course. As the class strength is smaller in numbers, every permanent and guest faculty knows every student and tries to help everyone with their career. Most of the faculties are post-graduates, and some have doctorate affiliations they try to teach the students practical knowledge of the industry, which they have experienced firsthand during their careers. We have one mid-term examination, an end-term examination, and a final jury. We were evaluated based on our continuous progress throughout the semester.

Class Size : 33Course Fees : INR 300000 per year

Remarks:

For bachelor programs, the candidate's maximum age should be less than 24 years as of the 1st of August of the year of Admission. For design courses like Fashion Design, Leather Design, Accessory Design, Textile Design, Knitwear Design, and Fashion Communication, a candidate must have cleared the +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized school/board/university in India or foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system. For the Bachelor of Fashion Technology (Apparel Production) (B.F.Tech.) course, a candidate must have a passing grade +2 examination with physics and mathematics as their subjects.
