UVCE Bangalore Admission 2024: Courses, Fees, Eligibility Criteria
University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) was established 1917. It offers courses like BE, ME and Ph.D across various departments. The admissions are done only through a Common Entrance Test (CET) / Aptitude test conducted by the Government of Karnataka.
- For B.E. admissions students must qualify for KCET.
- B.Arch aspirants must qualify for entrance conducted by NATA.
- Candidates who have cleared GATE or PGCET can be admitted in ME course.
- Ph.D. admissions are based on either qualifying GATE or UGC-NET or KCET.

The college was founded by Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvarya and is affiliated with University of Bangalore. The college is situated at K.R Circle in Bangalore. UVCE is situated in Jnana Campus which is expanded over 50 acre campus.
Only recently the college completed its 100 years of inception. Around 97 companies visited the campus and recruited more than 430 students through the placement drive. Almost 90% of the students got an opportunity for recruitment.

How to Apply for GATE?
The applications are accepted through the official website of GOAPS. Where the applicant must register first to create a new registration using one unique email id.
Documents Required
- Scanned photograph and signature
- Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID/College ID/Employee Identification Card/Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address).
- Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course Completion Certificate.
- Copy of mark sheet of V /VI /VII semester.
- Final year students must submit Provisional Certificate Letter as per format issued by the Home of Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Dept.
- Candidates in the final year of AMIE have to submit their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE in case of professional equivalent qualifications.
- Caste Certificate/Disability or PwD Certificate (if applicable).
- Candidates pursuing a higher degree or masters have to submit the qualifying degree certificate.

How to Apply for B.E and B.Arch Admissions in UVCE 2023
Students can follow the following steps for the admissions:
- Students have to visit the K.R Circle Campus once the announcement of allocation of Final Round Seat is done in this website.
- Application Forms of UVCE can be collected from the Admission Office, on the submission of:
- Admission order issued by KEA
- Documents as required
- Online fees receipt of Rs.12,500 /- (Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Rupees Only) which is paid only through Bangalore University Website.
- Rs. 1500/- shall be paid by the students from Class 12 boards other than Department of Pre-University Education Karnataka. Total amount will be 14,000 INR.
Note: No cash transactions will be accepted at the college. Only online fee payment will be accepted.
