The faculty is well qualified and teaches you very well and as a physics student, you'll spend a great amount of your time in the lab doing experiments as well as solving problems using Scilab. There are mid-term exams (internal exams) which generally happen in the mid of the semester and then a final exam and they are pretty easy to pass.
The first step is to fill out the online application for DU and then based on the cutoff you can reach out to the particular college. Shivaji College offers 3% relaxation to the girl's students. However, since now the admission procedure is entrance based so there might be some changes. one can refer to the official website of college to get a clear idea of the admission procedure.
I chose this course because the professors of Delhi University are extremely knowledgeable and since it's a premier University in India with a ranking in the top 10(that time) so I thought that I can learn a lot about physics at DU. The exams were moderate.
The admission process was based on the marks of class 12 and they were checking the marks for PCM i.e. Physics, Chemistry, and Maths and they require more than 92% in their second cut-off list for admission in Bsc Physics Hons, the forms can be found in the official website of DU and there are also reservation benefits for EWS, OBC(Non-creamy layer), SC and ST. There was also 2% relaxation for females in my college.
Being a commerce student I was interested in b com so after my 12 I choose this course. The ratio of faculty to student Ratio is good. The exams were conducted on time and the teaching staff helped students to get good marks in their exams.
The college is quite good and the teaching faculty is also good. the campus area is clean and green. The procedure of admission could be faster if we avoid a few steps which are time-consuming, with this the students can get into college faster.
I chose chemistry because I wanted to study it. Shivaji College has around 30 students in this course the faculty teachers are good and they did Ph.D. and their teaching method is good. Semester exams were conducted and an exam was also conducted for internal assessment marks.
A cuet exam is conducted by Delhi University and after that colleges under Delhi University announce their cut-off. For Shivaji college it was around 93 % for BSc (H) chemistry course. The application will be found on the official website of Delhi University. If you want a smooth admission process just check the website daily and remember the password.
I chose B.Com (Hons) as my course because I wanted to pursue my career in the field of commerce and finance. The student-teacher ratio is 60:1. The faculty is well-qualified. The teaching method is also very good.
To get admission we had to give CUET entrance test this year. First, we have to register on the CUET website. After that, we have to give CUET exam on the allotted date. After the declaration of the result, we were supposed to register on the CSAS portal of Delhi University to take part in admission process Delhi University
* With th stream i chose i had only 3 options for hons course i.e hindi, english and political science. The cut off for english and pol sci were higher than expected and what i scored so i wasn't eligible for those courses which lead to me opting for hindi. * The ratio of students and lecturers is pretty good, each subject is taught by atleast 3 teachers over the semester. * The knowledge that lecturers carry is phenomenal and majority of them are holding Phd degree. * The Exams are held timely as they are mentioned in academic calender and are neither too easy nor too difficult to pass.
* During the time took admission the university used to announce the cut off lists for the each colleges under it and admissions were on merit base but now onwards entrance test is being conducted for admission. * The application form could be found on the official website of the University of Delhi, the application charges are under Rs1000 and every year around the month of April-may the admissions for new batches starts. * There are Benefits for people falling in different types of reservation categories like Pwd,sc,st,obc,Ews etc. Students under these Categories are either charged less fee, get relaxation in percentage during admissions and so on. * The admission process is sofar take place in online mode only so nothing to complaint about or suggestions to change or improve something but process after admission during exams like document verification should be held online for convinience of students.
I chose this course because I wanted to pursue a career in the field of finance. The faculty-student ratio is 1:60. The faculty is well-qualified. And the teaching method opted for by my teachers is very good and understandable.
My course in B.Com (Hons). To get admission every student was supposed to give CUET exam. The syllabus was almost same as the syllabus of Class 12 CBSE Board. First we have to register on the CUET website, then give an exam and after that we are required to register on Delhi University website for the admission.
There are lots of curriculum activities in college that you have to choose which show and develop your talent and personality. Faculties are very good cooperative speciallly in the science department Most professors are PhD holder And best in their subjects If you're a good student then the college has many platforms for you to go ahead ..dont think college is just for fun. The students ratio is good means male females both 60 40 Exams are a very good part of graduation and attendance plays a big role minimum of 67 per cent is required for appearing in exams and that is necessary. Internal assessment and skill development courses are also held regularly
