Ques. What is the weightage criteria of JSAT for admission at JSPC Sonepat?

Ans. The candidates are required to secure a minimum of 55% marks in the JSAT examination to be eligible for admission. The weightage given to each section is:

  • English Verbal: 40%
  • Logical Reasoning: 40% 
  • Quantitative Skills: 20%

Ques. Can foreign students apply to JSPC Sonepat?

Ans. Yes. Foreign Students and NRIs can apply to JSPC Sonepat. There is no NRI quota and the candidates are selected on the same basis of merit as of Indian Students. 

Ques. What is the eligibility to get scholarships at JSPC Sonepat?

Ans. JSPC awards Merit cum Means Scholarships (MCM) every year to the students. The MCM Scholarship covers the tuition fees only. The eligibility criteria to get the JSPC scholarship include annual family income, XII board exam score, JSAT or standardized examination results and faculty Interaction score. Weightage will also be given to curricular and non curricular achievements.

Ques. What is the selection criteria for admission to JSPC Sonepat?

Ans. There are three rounds of selection of the candidates. They are:

  • Round 1: Candidates submit a personal statement of about 300 words which is a short reflective piece and applicants are required to answer at least three supplemental questions. The 10 and 10+2 examination scores are taken into consideration.
  • Round 2: Candidates need to appear for an interview with a member of the faculty of their respective schools. Further, candidates who did not appear for SAT/ACT/ LSAT, are required to appear for JSAT.
  • Round 3: Candidates who qualify Round 2 will be sent a provisional offer of Admission. Students are required to pay the Registration Refundable Fee.

Ques. Does JSPC Sonepat provide hostel facilities for the students?

Ans. Yes, the college provides hostel facilities for the students. There are separate blocks for male and female students. The rooms are aesthetically furnished.
