HP ANM Admission 2023: Eligibility

Candidates willing to seek admission in ANM course in Himachal Pradesh need to fulfil the Eligibility Criteria specified by the conducting body.

• Applicants must be a citizen of India.
• Applicants must be between the age group of 17-35 years. 5 years relaxation for SC/ST category.
• Applicants must have passed 10+2 from a recognised Board or university.
• Students from all streams are eligible to apply for this course.
• For SC/ST candidates, 5% relaxation in marks.
• Only female candidates are eligible to apply.

HP ANM Admission Form 2023

Candidates need to follow the below procedure for registering on the University site for the ANM course:

• Visit the official website to fill out the online application form.
• Register by entering the required details that include name, parents' name, gender(females), religion, DOB etc.
• Click on the submit, and OTP. Will be generated which needs to be entered to confirm the registration process.
• Once the registration is complete, the candidate needs to log in with the user Id and password.
• By logging in, complete the application form by entering basic details that include address, educational qualifications, photographs, and signature.
• Fill in all the asked details asked in the application form.
• Submit the application form. After submitting, a preview of the application form will be generated, download the form for future reference.

Note: All the information needs to be correct and accuarte to the candidate's knowledge. Wrong information will lead to the rejection of the application form. And candidates will be rejected from the HP ANM admission process.

HP ANM Admission 2023: Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for the ANM course in Himachal Pradesh is as follows:

• MCQ-type questions from GS, Aptitude, and Biology questions.
• Level of questions will be based on the minimum qualification of the candidate.

HP ANM Admission 2023: Syllabus

ANM is a two years Diploma Course. The syllabus is as follows:

• First Year

  • Community Health Nursing

  • Health Promotion

  • Primary Health care Nursing

  • Child Health Nursing

• Second Year

  • Midwifery

  • Health Centre Management

• An internship of 6 months

Note: The internship expenses will be paid by the candidate only. No stipend will be given during the internship period.

HP ANM Admission 2023: Counselling Process

The details for the counselling will be notified on the official website. Selected Applicants need to visit the official site regularly. The candidates have to register first for the counselling process. On the day of counselling, the candidate has to carry original documents for verification. 

Candidates will be called in the ratio of 1:2. It means that for 1 Seat two candidates will be called. Once the total seats are filled on the merit basis, then the waiting candidates will be called on for further filling of seats. Round 2 of the Counselling will be done if there are any vacant seats left in any of the centres.

• Caste Certificate if applicable
• Sub Category certificate issued by any competent authority.
