Odisha ANM Admission is done based on merit. DMET is the conducting body of Odisha ANM Admission. Odisha ANM Admissions begin in the month of August 2023. The last date to pay the application fee and submit the complete application form is usually in September 2023. DME Odisha will release the Odisha ANM Merit List after the registration process in October 2023.

Female candidates who have passed 10+2 from CHSE Odisha, NIOS, or equivalent are eligible to apply for Odisha ANM Admission 2023. They must complete 17 years as on December 31, 2023. The following points shall be considered before applying for Odisha ANM admission 2023.

  • Candidates must complete 17 years of age as on December 31, 2023.
  • They must pass 10+2 from CHSE Odisha or equivalent.  
  • Candidates passing 10+2 from NIOS equivalent to CHSE Odisha are also eligible.
  • ASHA candidates who have qualified 10+2 are also eligible.
  • For candidates taking admission via central counseling, they should atleast pass M.E. standard Odia.
  • Candidates must be a domicile/permanent resident of Odisha but currently residing outside Odisha (applicable for candidates taking admission through central counseling).
  • Only female candidates are eligible for Odisha ANM admission.
  • They should be medically fit.

Odisha ANM Admission 2023: Counseling

  • Candidates are selected purely on a merit basis. The score is determined based on the marks scored in 10th and 12th.In case of a tie between candidates, those who scored better in English will be given preference. As a tiebreaker, the older candidate will be chosen
  • ASHA Workers will be given 2% extra marks for each year of service, with a maximum of 20% marks.
  • Based on the merit lists, candidates will be called for the counseling process.
  • Candidates will have to present for document verification on the allotted date and time at the predetermined institute.
  • Selected candidates will have to remit the fees.
