My life in NIT Hamirpur

Remarks :

Students need to give Jee mains exam for getting into NiT. After cracking Jee mains you have a counseling round in which a seat is allocated to you in the branch you select and college you select on the basis of your marks (percentile) application for jee is released in January and is conducted 2 times in a year in the month of February and April. Category-wise reservation benefit you get during the time of cut-off. And you have a different fee structure if you fall under the reserved category. You need to give fewer fees. The admission process is quite good and fast.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose electrical because I had no interest in the IT sector. Faculty to student ratio is 30:70 Faculty of the college is very helpful and supportive. Teachers are highly qualified professors from IITs Ph.D. holders are teaching here. Every branch's teachers are supportive except the branch of electrical. The electrical Faculty is very strict, they set very hard paper exams that are conducted 2 times in a semester mid sem and end sem.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of my interest in electronics and communication. There is a total of 60-65 students in my class. The all teachers are well experienced and well qualified. They are very helpful. The semester exam is conducted at the end of the semester by HPTU and the exam is neither very hard nor very easy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As Computer Science and engineering are popular these days. I chose this course because I love problem-solving. I enjoy the technical site so computer science fits best me. The student-teacher ratio is 10:1 to ensure every student gets to follow the activity properly and remain attentive throughout. Faculty members are very experienced in their fields and look for the overall development of students in their subjects. All the faculty members are well-qualified, and all are punctual on time. The course curriculum focuses both on the theoretical and practical knowledge of students. The courses eventually change over time. Term exams are not so tough to pass. Regular attendees can easily pass the examination with a good pointer.
