Remarks :

So the process has changed significantly now but during my time there was a lack of transparency and it was time taking. By lack of clarity, I mean where to get the procedure done. You need to sort that thing out on your own.

Course Curriculum Overview :

We used to have a semester system and there were 4 subjects every semester. Talking about exams we used to have internal of 25 marks and external of 75 exams. The faculty were good and helpful in terms of guidance.

Class Size : 45Course Fees : INR 9000 per year

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible from semester 5 for campus placement that is in their final year. Few major companies like EY, KPMG etc are the one which comes. Around 20-30 companies usually come for placement but this number has increased in the last 2 years

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

So during my time fees were reasonable like Rs9,000/yr only the living expenses were high being an outstation student. The scholarship was given on the basis of merits and also for the EWS category. About placements, during my period it wasn't that good but now as I see the placement report of my college the placement is good and the number of companies coming for placement has increased.

Campus Life :

There are groups for every activity like for drama we have Lakshay club and there's a commerce society and similarly, every course have there club and we have a departmental fest for all the courses and also an annual fest of 2 to 3 days which is organised by students itself. Fest is conducted in the month of Jan or Feb.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bcom Honours, it's quite an interesting course where you focus on different areas but in most semesters you have accounts as a core subject. Faculty is kinda nice and good where you can talk with lectures about problems and inquiry Lecturers helps with problem if you face in college, though the admin office works very slowly and you often see students in the window of the admin office because there was a mistake

Commerce subject has always been my field of interest. My 1st preference was economic honors but the cut-offs were too high to get into a good college so I choose my 2nd preference B.Com honors which is great too. Also, I am planning to go for an MBA post-graduation so I thought it was a feasible option and subject.

The commerce and economics faculty of our college is quite known. the student-teacher ratio is appropriate and no issues have ever been seen. the teachers here are highly qualified. the exams were well timed and in curriculum and rigorous studies are required to score good marks.

They were always available for support and guidance, and their feedback was timely and extremely helpful. I never felt overwhelmed or frustrated during my four years of college, and I owe that to the faculty’s dedication to teaching. I had chosen this course because I was pursuing commerce in +2. The faculty is very good and the student ratio is good.
