Remarks :

Eligibility of getting admission into this college is only through the JEE Mains examination in India and through the DASA quota for abroad students. The dates and schedule of the exam are available on JEE mains 2023 website. Your rank in the examination should be between 30000 to 37000 all over India, reservations are also available for the categories which are available on the internet. Improvement in the admission process should be implemented in a way that non-category students are facing issues in getting higher branches, and everything will be done through JOSAA Counseling held after the results, details available on the JOSAA website 2023.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because of decent placements and nonhectic workdays in college. The faculty will be very amazing and supportive in the course, helping you in every situation in college. The student ratio is about 80:20 with lesser girls. All the professors are Ph.D. qualified and had experience of approx. 10 years. The teaching method is greatly understandable and easy to analyze. Talking about the exams so, the mid-term exam would be there of 30% weightage approx., and an Endsem exam at the end of a semester consists of 50% weightage, and 20% internals would be there. No need to study like a machine or like in your preparation, just revise for 1 hour or less a day and prepare well in the last 5 to 10 days before exams and will score good marks

Internships Opportunities :

Great internship opportunities were given to the 2nd and 3rd-year students. Companies that visit for placements also give internship opportunities to junior students. Simply 1 good and company-oriented project can lead you toward your goal.

Placement Experience :

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for placements. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, and the core companies for every branch would come for placements every year. The highest package for the CS branch this year was 66 LPA CTC, and the average was 22 LPA. Approx. 97% percent of students got placed in a good company. I also want to get a high-paying job after my degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The cost of the study is approx. 60 to 70k per semester. Also, scholarships are available for categories and a special scheme for Maharashtra students is also available. For non-category students who have a family income of fewer than 5 lakhs then 2/3 rd of their fees would be remitted after a particular year.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is AAROHI, called central India's largest cultural fest conducted in September, and October. Tech fest conducts the technical club of the college AXIS, also central India's largest tech fest, conducted in April. For the books used in academics, everything is available in the library. Classrooms are also very well designed with Air Conditioners and smart boards, and comfortable for students. A very large network of sports and extracurriculars is available in the college. Playground and indoor courts for every sport are there. Annually Institute gathering is organized in which every department participates in almost every field, sports, cultural, rallies, posters, and all. 31 clubs are available in the college, some famous of them are Hallabol, Octaves, Axis, Iv labs, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are also decent. In the first year, boys should be allotted the 3 seater rooms, while girls have 2 seated. Beds and personal storage almirahs are available. And the coolers are allowed in summer. Meal quality is also very satisfying compared to other hostels. Registration for the hostel should be required for every semester, and fees would be approx. 35k to 40k, different for different semesters. The locality is on South Ambazari Road, Nagpur.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The professor is highly knowledgeable they are very supportive if we find any difficulty from any problem then they help a lot with it. Exams are in every month and final semester exams are there If we study hard then exams are not tough. Negative point is that sometimes faculty say anything bad so it gets irritated.

There are good opportunities for placements after B.Tech in Surface Coating Technology. Most of the top paint companies' recruits graduate from here. The regular recruiters are Berger Paints, Kansai Nerolac Paints, Asian Paints, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors, BASF, PPG Asian, Axalta coatings, FIAT, Godrej & Boyce and many more. In our batch, all of the students got placed in good companies and got the lowest package of 4 LPA and the Highest package of 8 Lakhs. Most of the students go into research & development for automotive paints or decorative paints. Some of the students join the paint manufacturing, technical services & sales for paints.
