Remarks :

The admission process is through JOSAA and CSAB. Candidates have to clear Jee Mains. For OBC there is no reservation in Josaa and Csab although Bit Mesra provide reservation for Jharkhand state obc in its website.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course coz the placement is very good. The average package for the IT branch is 20lpa. It has very huge faculty for every field. The semester last for a minimum of 3 months to 4 months. Two quizzes, one mid-sem and one end sem conducted every semester. After the end-sem vacation is a provider of min 1 month to 3 months. The exam is not quite tough moderate.

Internships Opportunities :

BIT Mesra has an active internship program that offers students the opportunity to gain practical work experience and apply their classroom knowledge in real-world settings. The college has collaborations with various industries and companies, which provide students with a wide range of internship opportunities Some of the companies that have offered internships to BIT Mesra students in the past include TATA Steel, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Cognizant, L&T, and many more. The roles offered under these internships vary depending on the company and the industry. For example, students may work as software developers, data analysts, web designers, marketing analysts, or research assistants. The internship projects offered to students at BIT Mesra are designed to help them gain hands-on experience in their chosen fields of study. For example, a computer science student might work on a project that involves developing a new software application or a website. An electrical engineering student

Placement Experience :

On-campus placement is offered. Companies come like amazon Microsoft, sprinkle, etc. For on-campus internships, companies come at the start of 3 rd year. Many got pre-placement offers. The placement started at the end of 3rd year. The highest package offered last year is 64lpa by Atlassian. Almost all the students got placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tuition fee is on average 3 lakh per year. The hostel fee is 25000 per semester. Bit provides GP Birla scholarship in regards to performance in the end semester examination and Jee Main rank. Currently, I am in 2nd year so I don't have any internships. But in July and August, the companies come for internships.

Campus Life :

The college conducts two annual fests. One tech fest is named Pantheon and One Cultural fest is named Bitotsav. Pantheon is conducted in October. Bitotsav is Conducted in February. Books are available from all the fields in the library. Classrooms are well maintained with ac, CCTV surveillance, and noise proof. The lecture hall is very big. Smartboard is available in every classroom. A sports event is also conducted named Vajra where students of different colleges came and participate. There are many clubs like ACM, SDS, IEEE, IET, LITSOC, FINANCE etc.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel provides a single room from the first year itself. It also has a double room and a triple room. Each room has properly working fans. The rooms are spacious. The view from the window is also very pleasant. Mess is very large in every hostel. The mess menu is decided by the students and changes every month. The quality is very good. They provide food 4 times a day. Breakfast in the morning, lunch in the afternoon, snacks in the evening and dinner at the night.

CHAIBASA ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was interested in studying b.tech in computer science and engineering and learning about computer machines and their software so I opted for studying at chaibasa engineering college. In chaibasa engineering college the faculty-to-student ratio is very nice as here it's 1 teacher with over 40 students and the teacher can clarify every student's doubts and can also interact with everyone. Here the teacher is also highly qualified with having P.hd in a particular field and many have done masters from IITs. The teaching style of the teachers is fabulous and explains very complex topics very easily and tries to reach every student's doubts. during our first semester curriculum, the college took two main internal assessment exams which were what we were taught in the class and the difficulty level was moderate.

Placement Experience:

The Campus Recruitment Programme of BIT has been an example for several other institutions by catering to the demands of the industry. During the year 2021-22, the Campus Recruitment Programme maintained its strong position with visits from 235 recruiters (FTE+Internship) across all campuses and by achieving an overall target of 1257 job offers. The Mesra campus boasts of an average package of INR 13.01 lakhs per annum and the highest national salary of INR 58.33 lakhs per annum for BE Programme. talking about the batch profiler of the B.TECH here the number of students placed branch-wise is CSE-134, BIO TECH.- 70, IT-72, CIVIL-57 EEE-57, ECE-129, CHEMICAL-42, MECHANICAL -118, PRODUCTION-34.

My two years at bit mesra

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in the seventh semester. Many big softech companies visit the campus like Amazon, Microsoft, Walmart, Accenture, and many more. The highest package for my branch went up to 50 lakhs last year. Almost all the students of the circuital branches get placed. Although the placement in non-circuital branches isn't good. After the degree, i plan on getting placed in a good company and working there.

from 3rd year onwards placements start. Placement at BIT MESRA is Awesome.Cse average package is nearly 20lpa.Median package of cse is 16LPA.There is nearly 95%placements in cse Overall institute average is 13lpa with a median of 11lpa.Nearly 85% of the students got placed from Bit mesra in 2021-22 batch.From 6th semester, Students become eligible for sitting in placements. Major companies that visited our college are AMAZON, GOOGLE, FLIPKART, WALMART, GOLDMAN SACHS, FACEBOOK , TWITTER.My plan is to get a job in top MNC after completing my 4year btech.

BIT MESRA - A decent college with attractive placement and really huge campus

Placement Experience:

Placements are very attractive here as all the major companies visit here to offer jobs. The average package of college is nearly 14-15 LPA, so for CS, and AIML branches it is nearly 18 LPA. 85% of students were placed here this year.
