Hostels are not provided to every student. every branch gets some amount of seats rest of the students have to find flats or pg around campus Meal quality is average in some Hostels, Girl's hostel meals are very good maintained
The annual fest of DAV was the carnival which is held once a year in march and it was fun. our college invites big singers to the fest and even DJ party also took place in college. There are all amenities in the classroom but in hot weather, there is no ac which is so much required and even this college has a good playground for a sports team to play overall nice college.

The campus of Punjab University is awesome. It is famous for its huge campus and serene environment in northern India. It is a very safe area to roam around even at night. Studying at this university in itself is an unforgettable time every year, there are a lot of fests in every department where you can go and enjoy.
Hostel rooms are pretty decent here for the price which is 5000 per semester and the cost of mess is good too. Over that, you have access to the international hostel's mess. The registration process starts during the counseling sessions where you can fill out the forms for the hostel and then a list of students with allotted hostels and a waiting list will be given.
one of the biggest fests of mcm dav is Meraki fest which happens once in two years in October! There are lots of great books by philosophers and different psychologists! And great journals people love to read! There are different types of sports played in this college and different activities like dance, open mic, book fair etc held. There is the most famous finnexus event which is run by commerce students! And different social groups and clubs for different activities
The facilities provided by the hostel are enough for a student to live comfortably! Everything is provided in hostel rooms! The food people say about the hostel is luck and all that! But it is pretty much amazing and the menu is okay! If you want anything to be exchanged in the menu you can suggest it! The registration process is very easy and hostels are affordable too! You can fill it in instalments also. Okay so if you are going for room or PG so you can check sectors like 37C, 34A, and 36B! But the best of them is 37C
The cultural life at UIET is quite good with a lot of clubs and groups to join and develop a personality. Some of these are DCU(Dance Committee of UIET), Sports clubs, EDC(Entrepreneurship and placement cell) etc.
The whole of Panjab University has free WiFi facilities whether it's in college or hostels. The class infrastructure on average is good but the hostels hygiene is not up to the mark. Food is sometimes good and sometimes average in the college canteen as well as the hostel mess.
You feel enjoy this college life so much as it is the best time you can spend and you will always remember this time. the friends you make are the best people you can ever meet in your life. So this is the best college.

I gave jee mains exam in 2019. And after the result, I applied for counseling in Jac. We have to fill the priorities of the stream and college according to us .you can find the application form on the official website of the Jac Chandigarh. I didn't avail of any reservation benefits. But there are some reservations for the sc, obc, and st castes. And no Chandigarh quota.
SBy - StudentThe admission for my graduation was through the eligibility for the course you need to get a percentage above the college cut-off to get admission. The cut-off for the reserved category was very low and due to that the competition for seats increased and the general category had a very high cut-off. I would request the college to give admission on the basis of the qualities of the students not on the basis of marks or some reservations system.
NlBy - Naman lahotraEligibility was very easy. There was no entrance test but they check the previous percentage of 12th standard and a lot of seats according to availability. Overall good experience. Reservation benefits are available for weaker sections as well
