Panjab University LLM Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for LLM admission at Panjab University, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

The candidates need to have an LL.B. / B.A.LL.B./ B.Com.LL.B. Five-year examination of this course with a minimum of 55% or the comparable examination from any recognized university.
The admission is solely based on the entrance exam where 80% of the marks would be for the test and the remaining 20% for qualifying for the entrance test.

Panjab University LLM Admission Criteria

Admission to LLM at Panjab University is conducted through the PUCET (PG) entrance test conducted by the university. For the final selection, a merit list will be prepared based on entrance test scores and marks secured in the qualifying examination.

Visit the official website of Panjab University – cetpg.puchd.ac.in.
Create a login id and password
Now Login using for username and password
Click on “Online Registration” and fill the application form
Enter your personal and academic details
Upload photograph and signature in the prescribed format
Pay the application fee through Credit/Debit card, Internet Baking, UPI, Wallets, etc.
Submit the application form
Take a printout of application form for future reference.

Evaluation Pattern: The scheme of examination of papers of both the semesters (excluding dissertation) shall be as under:

Maximum 100 marks will be allotted for each paper (except term paper and dissertation).

These marks will be further divided into two parts i.e. Theory examination (75 marks) and Seminar (25 marks).

Panjab University LLM Entrance Exam Pattern

The duration of the Entrance Test will be 1 hour and 30 minutes. The Entrance Test will be of 100marks.The questions will be based upon following four components:

Constitution Law, Administrative Law, Service Law, Environmental Law and Human Rights (50 MCQ)
Indian Penal Code (IPC), Cr. Pr. Code and Law of Evidence (15 MCQ)
Jurisprudence (10 MCQ)
Family Law, Law of Contract, Law of Torts, Public International Law, Labour Laws and Company Law (25 MCQ)
