What students say about Christ University

Likes

  • Professors are the heartbeat of a university, and you can rest assured that CU has the best of the best professors.
  • Of course, Christ provides internships that are best suited for M.com students at Christ.
  • It was excellent from an insiders point of view as the college has almost placed 80% or more students from college itself, though the intake for the MBA was around 500.
  • I believe that the best way to learn about any scholarships is to check the official website and contact the university office.
  • There are excellent facilities with a very good sports department, providing access to a variety of sports for the students and two good sports grounds.
  • The food is one of the best I have ever had. No one can beat the Christ canteen; you can get every cuisine over here.
  • The college has the best faculty and management, and the management has appointed student representatives to collect feedback from students for management.

Dislike

  • Our classes are from 6:30-12 and then from 1-3 for 3 days a week, and on the other days, they are just from 6:30-12.
  • No, I am not aware if there were any scholarships or loan facilities offered by our college that I know of.
  • The hostel facilities are provided on campus, but they do not provide food.
  • The only negative remark Id say is that the red tape in college is just the most annoying and excruciating thing youll ever go through. Its like if you think getting something done in a government office is bad, Christ is ten times worse.

Placement Experience:

The placements are not satisfactory, there are good companies making offers but the students are made to accept the offer and given no choice by the placement office. I became eligible for campus placements in the 7th semester and companies like Kock Industries, and Deloitte came to our campus. The highest package offered was 19 LPA.

Remarks:

The cut-off for admission was 65% above and anyone who has completed science courses in their 11th and 12th was eligible to apply. the application form, fees, and application dates are updated on the official christ website. The application process was smooth and I think there were no errors

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from 3rd year. In between that internships can also be done. The university has a long history of successful placements. Around 150 groups from different fields approach the university. There is also continuous change in the rate of placements every year. More than 85% of the students get placed every year I am opting for going for higher education abroad after completing the degree.

Remarks:

Admission to Christ University is based on the entrance exam conducted by the university followed by a micro presentation and an interview. The application form, fees, and dates will be available on the Christ University site.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements right from the start of their 3rd year. I would say placements are decent for my course. The average CTC is 6 lakhs, basic is around 3.5 lakhs per annum. For a newly established college like this, it's decent enough.

Remarks:

CUET is the admission test for joining this college, and along with that, there will be a personal interview and micro presentation. An average score in CUET is fine to get into CHRIST for a Btech degree. CUET consists of subjects taken in 12th along with basic aptitude. The interview consists of questions regarding you and a couple of questions regarding subjects.
