I chose computer science engineering at Christ University. The faculty, placements, and campus are the reasons I chose christ over any other university. The faculty strives to make students' lives as simple as possible and is extremely skilled and experienced in their own respective fields. Examinations are conducted regularly in christ in the form of CIA-1, mid-semester examinations, CIA-3, and end-semester examinations. The CIA also includes mini-projects and assignments. There will be sufficient gaps in between the exams and will be easy to crack if you're attentive in class.

A comprehensive guide for admission in Department of Commerce, Christ University

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as it was integrated with US-CMA. The add-on course was facilitated by an external training institute called miles education. This course would have increased the employability of the students. The department of commerce has around one teacher for every 50 students. All of the teachers are highly qualified with a minimum of a master's degree. Most of the teachers have a PhD degree in place and they're continuously working on research projects as well. The teaching method is very much in coherence with the demand of the job sector today. Term exams were held every 6 months with a mid-semester exam happening between those six months. It wasn't difficult to pass the exam if the student was aware of what has been taught in the classes.

Christ through the lens of a Christite

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty here are very well-qualified and are experts in their subjects. They are also open to any feedback from the students. They are flexible with their teaching methods. Most of them put in their best effort to teach the students. Except for a few written examinations, most of them are assignment based. The exams are easy enough to pass but difficult enough to score high. Moreover, a lot of projects are group-based, so you are evaluated accordingly. Just being textbook good is not enough when you're in Christ. As for my program, the curriculum is well-made and there's a perfect balance between theory and practical.

First of all, I don’t deem it right for you to compare an MBA with Development studies as both are vastly different. Even comparing a General MBA with that in Rural Management is unjustified. The choice of the program depends on what your inclinations and interests are and what you want to do with your degree. The points below will help you know the right choice for some general preferences. Rural Management: If you want to be in the new markets and provide forward linkages to rural enterprises or backward linkages to large-scale industries, then Rural Management is best for you. Development Studies: If you are willing to work in the policy sector, with an understanding of the development and public policy, and want to become an expert in project management, development, and implementation works in both rural and urban development, in a human and spatial context, then Development Studies is perfect for you.
