Chandigarh University B.Arch admission 2024 is open now. Admissions to the B.Arch program will be granted on the basis of CUCET, an entrance exam conducted by the university. Eligible candidates can apply online on the university’s official website – cucet.cuchd.in. CUCET 2024 Phase 1 registration has been started from October 20, 2023. The last date to register for CUCET 2024 Phase-I is May 30, 2024. The last date for the CUCET 2024 Phase-I Exam is May 31, 2024.

Chandigarh University B.Arch Course

Chandigarh University is ranked 15^th for Architecture by NIRF 2023. The university conducts a national-level entrance test, CUCET, for admission to the B.Arch program. The candidates with a valid score in NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 are also eligible to apply for the Chandigarh University B.Arch program.

Chandigarh University B.Arch Eligibility

The candidates applying for admission to the B.Arch course at Chandigarh University must have the following educational qualification obtained from any of the recognized boards or institutions:

• The candidate must have passed Class XII (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
• Candidates who have passed the 10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate are also eligible for admission to the course.
• Apart from the educational qualification (10+2/ Diploma), the candidate must have obtained at least 40% pass marks in each subject of the JEE Mains Part 2 or must have qualified NATA. 
• Age Criteria: According to Chandigarh University norms, there is no age bar for admission to the B.Arch course.

The selection of the candidates applying for the B.Arch course is based on the score/ merit in any one of the following examinations:

• National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA)

Online Mode:

• Visit the Official Website of CU.
• Register using valid Phone Numbers, Email Addresses, cities, etc.
• A login credential will be generated, then log in using the credential, and fill in the form with academic and personal details.
• The application fee must be paid online through Net banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card.
• Submit the application form.

Offline Mode:

• Download the application form from the official website.
• Pay the application fee of INR 1000 through challan.
• Submit the duly filled form at the CU campus or admission office.

Chandigarh University offers a full-time five-year B.Arch degree that involves a blend of theoretical and practical knowledge to learn the art of planning, designing, and constructing physical structures of various kinds. 

• The curriculum of the course is divided into 10 semesters and the syllabus covers all the facets of Architecture comprising innovative design practices and technologies.
