Likes
- The facilities are awesome, knowledgeable, and caring. Although I took admission during the pandemic, we still had good interactions with professors online, and they answered our doubts.
- Yes, the college provides internships in some of the best companies like BCCL, CIL, SBI, etc. The stipend amount varies from company to company.
- During the 5th semester, companies visit our campus for internships. The campus placement opportunities are wonderful.
- There are a lot of scholarship opportunities for backward class students and academically intelligent students.
- The institute also has a very good sports infrastructure and provides a lot of opportunities for people pursuing a career in sports.
- I heard that the hostel has a very good wifi connection, and each hostel has a gym, a badminton court, and a basketball court.
- NIT Durgapur has one of the best faculties in the field of mechanical engineering, with the highest number.
Dislike
- There are opportunities for internships, but it is very difficult to get one because it is only available to around 10 percent of students.
- We receive information about scholarships. They have no interest in granting scholarships to students like us who are poor.
- It is very bad to say that there are approximately 80 boys and 20 girls in every class.
- The hostel condition was below average, and the quality of food was very bad. We used to complain about it every other week.
- Overall, it is good, but one thing I noticed is that the food quality in the hostel is very, very bad. Additionally, they do not provide sufficient food for the amount we paid for the food charge.

Placement Experience:
The students are eligible for placements right from the third semester or second year. There are a large number of companies coming every year including : Microsoft-4 Amazon-10 Tata motors-20 Vedanta-33 Hero-19 Qualcomm -7 and many more... Highest Package- 51 lpa Average Package - 11 lpa with a decent placement percentage of 89%
Remarks:
I had given JEE mains and JEE advanced and was able to get an AIR of 37050 [Gen]. Those with reservation benefits can get into this college at a higher rank as well. After the exam, I went through JOSSA counselling program, and after 6 rounds of counselling, I got an NIT Durgapur B.Tech Mechanical engineering.
Placement Experience:
Very good placements. CSE, ECE, EE and CHE have great placements approx more than 90% of the students get placed here. But some branches like civil and biotechnology has less scope of placements in core

Through JEE Mains 2022. Counselling is done basically through JoSAA and then vacant seats are filled by CSAB rounds. The cutoff for the general was around 25k for EE. This year, the cutoff decreased as in 2021 it was around 21k.

Very nice admissions, only by jee mains, form only in jee mains counseling site, reservations as per sc st and OBC Yes, there should be a sop and for in the admission process. otherwise good people are very good.

5th semester for internships and onwards you may get PPO and from 7th semester you will get full-fledged placement opportunities though from 6th it starts. 57lpa highest and 18.8lpa average salary for CSE 95% choose the placement and others for higher studies, by their own wish. You have to clear Jee mains with a good percentile Search for NTA jee mains you will get everything from NTA official site. It updates year to year The normalization procedure must be improved. The percentile depends on jee mains shift which is luck dependent.

From 7 semesters students can sit for campus placement and so many companies will visit campus. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and PSU will visit the companies. The percentage will different for different branches.

The admission process is very easy and the branch Will be given according to rank and reservation. And the preference of should be given by us properly. Later the college will be the branch and everything accordingly from your rank.
Placement Experience:
The placement was good you can imagine by seeing the average package is 11.32 lakh. 44 students got a 47lakh package which is amazing and more than 89% of students got placed. My plan is to get a job after getting a degree

Eligibility of the Course is 96 percentile I found the application form on jee main website cast reservation benefits are provided also home state and other state benefits are provided. No improvement I want to see in the application form it sufficient

Students become eligible for placement from the seventh semester. About 200+ companies visit the campus. The highest package is offered by Microsoft which is 55 LPA and the average package is 11 LPA. various job profiles are offered in various branches. Almost 80-90% of students get placement from campus. I will be joining Larsen & Turbo limited as a graduate engineer trainee which I got in campus placement

Have to appear for jee( mains) to get admission to Nit. The application can be done on the NTA website Generally, twice a year exam is conducted Sc/ST/ gen -news/PWD benefits available. Admission fees also vary for reservation candidates. Cut off usually vary year to year
Placement Experience:
A student can apply for placement from the 5th semester, placement is very much impressed with an average of 8.5 lakh per annum Most of the multinational companies visit our campus for placement like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, TCS, Mahindra, and manufacturing industries and petroleum, and petrochemical industries also. The percentage of students got placed every year is different in general from the CSE branch 95.4% of students got placed and chemical 88.8% and other branches also provide a high percentage of placement I will join one company first then after being stable in my life I will try to make my village better by providing some facilities as there is a very less number of children getting education of higher studies
Remarks:
To get admission all have to qualify for JEE Main exam first, then thereafter cut off will be announced which differs from branch to branch. Application is available online at jeemain.nta.nic.in fees is not fixed it varies between Rs.600-1000. Reservation of seats is as per the government has approval. The admission process is much better.
Placement Experience:
From the third year or after the sixth semester students become eligible for campus placements. Several companies visited our campus like tata, Mahindra, TCS, Infosys, etc. About 80-90 percent of students got placement. As our average package is 8-9 lacks per annum
Remarks:
First, we have to give an exam known as the joint entrance exam(JEE). Then we have to face counseling on the JOSSA Online app which provide colleges and branch as per our results. Then after we got the enrollment form and we get a date for physical appearance in the academic and hostel. I want an improvement that JOSSA has to be updated because that site is very busy or not working well.
