After completing my degree, universities will help me to find a job. Universities will only inform you about vacancies rest everything we have to do. The average package after completing this course will be around 60k-70k AUD annually.

The course structure of Masters of biotechnology is practically based and in the second year university allows to work in industries as an intern or choose a thesis pathway which helps students to decide their path. I think really both because I have all my units are divided into the two components you just said I have lots of research based units and I have lots of practical based units as well but I think Deakin does a really good job in adding practical units lots lots of them I think every research component also has a practical side where I could use that information in a job or you know in activity.

I do not have I think that was going to be in the third year, and I was going to go there this year, but I can't. So Deakin has a website called Deakin Jobs, so there is a whole variety of jobs where you can apply, and they also have on-campus events that give you the opportunity to talk to companies or individuals that are hiring people..

We have to reach out to companies. The university just tells us like this is the minimum requirement and you have to get internships fir it before a specific time frame. I reached out to 10 different companies and I asked them about any internship opportunities.

Deakin University has something called talent this helps us to get internships and job they will help and guide the students to apply for the internship and job if the candidate wants to apply for the job and internship Deakin university also provide its students with research opportunities if they want to go in the research domain.

Currently, I do not know if Deakin offers placement after study or not as I am currently in my final year and this is the year where I will be working on a capstone project with senior professionals. But I believe Deakin does offer placements for students who have performed well during their studies.

It depends on the individual to get a professional job. Although the opportunities are available, you should be able to make a habit of facing rejections. But, you should not stop and work with determination to get a professional job in Australia. The companies will not visit the Deakin University, but you will be provided with global opportunites in their job boards.

Firstly, my USA visa got rejected. So, my backup plan was Australia. After my visa rejection, the immediate intake of the Australia was November, the best university to come in the November intake is Deakin University. Also, I have seen the QS rankings and heard many success stories. The curriculum is great, so these are the things that drove me to accept the admission offer.

There are job fairs wherein you can interact with many companies and ask them all your queries but no direct placements.

I chose DEAKIN due to the course I chose. There was only 2-3 universities which had construction management coursework and Deakin university had construction management(professional) course which intrigued me and also the fees was less compared to group 8 universities which was really too costly.

There are so much opportunities and guidance provided. Research opportunities also available inside the university as well as in well recognised research centres.

I love Science, and I also wanted to change my career. That's why I started studying Science.

There are no placements post study. One needs to look for jobs on their own. There are no placement departments. There is a unit which helps you get your applications fixed when applying for jobs outside.

My selection of the University was done based on the English education nations(US, UK,AUS, Canada). I preferred Australia, especially Victoria as it is the education hub of the country. Though it is a bit expensive but comparatively cheaper than other countries. The admission process is hassle free. Chose Deakin as it highly ranked in the World and has got a good stand in Business studies.

Here Deakin provides a pathway and has its own portal for job search (DEAKINTALENT) students can visit thier portal for new job listing and go accordingly. Deakin also provides a job ready programs for the students prior getting into a job which will help students to be industry ready.

I wanted to apply for the Master of Information Technology (Professional) Course at Deakin University with the goal to improve network skills, software development and cybersecurity management. I firmly believed that Deakin University will be the perfect launch pad for my aspirations.
