Which is better: CSE at PEC, Chandigarh or IT at IIIT, Allahabad?
IT at IIIT Allahabad is a better option, compared to CSE at PEC. In terms of academics, facilities, and placements, it has an edge over PEC. IIIT Allahabad placement 2022 concluded with an average CTC of INR 19.52 LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was INR 32.5 LPA. The placement rate was around 100%. The campus has a good student crowd, peer learning opportunities are ample.
But PEC has a locational advantage. Compared to Allahabad, Chandigarh offers better exposure and career opportunities.

Both IIIT Allahabad and PEC are very good institutes, but CSE and IT are the branches where placement is not fully dependent on college. There are many students who despite pursuing CSE or IT from private colleges have good knowledge about their field and are put in very good companies.
As far as IIIT Ahmedabad is considered the faculty, infrastructure, facilities are good and with this, it also has a very good placement rate.

Chandigarh is much better than Allahabad in terms of location, so PEC has an advantage here. Students with good ranks do go for PEC often. You should check the placement of PEC from the official website.
I have a few friends who attend IIIT Allahabad and I heard good things about the institute. You can’t go wrong with IIIT Allahabad.
