Indian law Institute widely known as ILI was established in 1956. The institute was inaugurated by the first president of India Dr.Rajendra Prasad in presence of various government officials and other judges. The government of India granted the status of the deemed university to ILI in 2004. The institute offers LLM, Ph.D., postgraduate in diploma, and online certificate programs. The main objective of ILI is to motivate and promote the science of law and to contribute to reforming the administration of justice.

The application mode is online for admission in the various programs available at ILI.

One needs to visit the official site of ILI for submitting the form and have to do the payment of the registration fees according to the particular course.

Eligible students have to appear for the entrance exam and interview (only for Ph.D.) and based on the marks obtained and presentations admission will be done.

Admissions for the postgraduate Diploma programs are done based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations.5% extra weightage is given to law graduates/CMA/CS/CA.

Mainly 3 types of scholarships are granted by the institute.

1)Merit scholarship

INR 30000 per annum is given to the first two students based on the merit list of the All India Admission test of one year LLM degree program.

2) Merit-cum-Means scholarship:

The institution may repay the fees of the needy and sincere students (max 5% of the intake) studying in one year LLM program. The final decision is based on the director.

3) Gold Medals to Meritorious students:
