Superb college

Campus Life:

The cultural fest is SPRING FEST and the technical fest is KSHITJ. Both are awesome. We have an amazingly big library where you can find almost any book in physical or digital form (yes, IIT KGP has a digital library). Sports facilities are many and awesome.

IIT Kharagpur the oldest and best IIT

Hostel Facilities:

hostel facilities is quite good at this price range and also the food and mess quality is very good . It take care of nutrition of students . Her every student have to take hostel. But there are very much good facilities provided .

Campus Life:

Campus life is very good. Here tech fests and cultural fests take place , the annual tech fest is known as Kshitiz and cultural is known as Spring fest. The sports facilities is also very good we got many grounds like for each hall there is a ground and in general also there are three big grounds and there are many societies and clubs to enhance your skills in every domain.

Hostel Facilities:

We are given a study table, chair and bed with a wardrobe in the hostel room. Meal quality in our mess is average. The menu is properly balanced and updated which is good. The registration process for the hostel was not as smooth as expected.

Campus Life:

At IIT Kharagpur Kshitij and Spring, fests are conducted. Kshitij is conducted during January. In our library, we approximately have 5 lakh books. Everybody can utilize the library. At IIT Kharagpur we have 74 clubs formed and run by the students.

Internship opportunities at KGP

Hostel Facilities:

We have good facilities in the room. But nowadays we are facing a water shortage. Meal quality is good and we have different types of meals available. The registration process for the hostel was not as expected. It took 6 hours for us to get registered in the hostel.

Campus Life:

At IIT KGP we have spring fest and kshitij. Kshitij has conducted Our classrooms are too good. We have plug points to charge our laptop during January. We have approximately 5 lakh books in the library of IIT KGP. tops, phones. The general championship is conducted in our college which is a competition among our halls in every sport. We have 74 social groups in IIT KGP.

My Dream College (IIT KGP) Review

Campus Life:

The campus size of IIT Kharagpur is 2100 acres making it the largest IIT in the country and also the mother IIT of all IITs. The IIT KGP library too is fast and contains almost books about every field possible along with a digital library. The classrooms at Nalanda and of departments are also very spacious. Huge grounds and swimming pools and indoor games at Gymkhana are played. The campus includes Subway, Baskin Robbins, CCD and many more places to hang around. Multiple societies like Pravaah, Breakfree, and Encore are run by students and are very fun

A genuine one

Hostel Facilities:

The room has all the basic facilities available like a water purifier, geyser, separate balcony, etc. The quality and quantity of the meal are decent. The menu is very nutritious and you have the option to select between veg and nonveg.

Campus Life:

The annual fest of VGSOM include PURVODAYA, and tech fest KSHITJ the both the event happen in the month of JAN and FEB. The academic subject books are made available to us at the start of the semesters and the IIT library as well as the VGSOM library have a plethora of books available. The classroom is well-equipped with projectors and comfortable seats. there are many ways you can perform extracurricular activities through the various clubs and committees available on campus for interested candidates.

IIT KHARAGPUR-A great place to spend 4 years of your life.

Campus Life:

The annual fest conducted in the month of January is Spring Fest and the Tech Fest is Kshitij. IIT Kharagpur has one of the largest libraries in India. You can find any book of any genre in the library. Classes are conducted in the Nalanda complex which is fully air-conditioned, large in size, and can accommodate almost 300 students. Many societies/clubs are there on our campus like pravah, encore, tfps, alumni cell, etc.

Hostel Facilities:

Rooms are either 3 sharing or 2 sharing or single room. Rooms are very big and good in condition and also they renovated if required. There is one bed, one table, one light, one chair, and one fan per person in the room. We have our private mess for our hostel where food is so delicious and every day one person has to take charge of mess duty for encountering good food quality. There is the no different registration process for the hostel and it is all counted singly in the admission process.

Campus Life:

We have kshitij and spring fest held during the spring semester. kshitij is a technology festival and spring fest is an entertaining festival where some celebrities came and entertain us. We have Asia's biggest library so there are so many Books regarding your course or other than your course for reading and also we have a digital library where you can read online books also. We also have a journal section in our library. Classrooms are very big and Mainly divided into two categories: circular and rectangular. The rectangular classes are very big and circular classes are small as compared to rectangular. There is central AC in every classroom along with 2 smart projectors. We also have a general championship held every spring semester. Where there are 3 types of events held: sports and games, technology and culture. These all are extra academic activities. You can part in each activity accordingly to your interest.

We have triple-sharing rooms which depend on availability. Meal quality is better compared to other colleges. Hostel fees are affordable and included in the admission process. No, since hostels are compulsory for every student.

Out of 20 hostels, the size of rooms in every hostel is different. The best rooms are available in Vidyasagar Hall of Residence for UG students. This hall provides single-room occupancy. In fact, many other halls like Meghnad Shah Hall of Residence and Patel hall of Residence to provide single-room occupancies, it’s the superior quality of the environment at Vidyasagar Hall that steals the show. Other multiple occupancy halls that are pretty good include the LBS Hall of Residence. This hall is usually allocated to first-year UG students. The worst hostels in terms of facilities are Patel, Azad, and Nehru. The rooms of these hostels were initially made for 2 students each but now they have become triple room occupancy. PG students are allotted the MMM, BR Ambedkar, and VS Hall of residence. The BR Ambedkar Hall of residence has the best facilities and rooms among all the three halls of residence. Facilities inside a room include two sockets, one LAN port, a steel bed, a wooden chair, and a wooden table. Every hostel corridor has an excellent wifi connection also....Read more

IIT Kharapur has around 18-20 hostels. There are 2 main girl hostels that will be allotted to you way before you reach IIT KGP for admission. Once you reach, that particular hostel will go through your documents and a lot of room. The rooms are usually double occupancy so you can ask for sharing the room with a specific friend also. You are also allowed to change your rooms after 15-20 days provided that you inform the hostel authority of the same and get registered under the new room....Read more

For UG girls IIT KGP has two main halls of residence: Sarojini Naidu Hall (SN) and Mother Teresa Hall(MT). SN Hall The Hall firmly believes in its motto: Sanskrita Striya Shakti. Some highlights of this Hall are This is the most lively and oldest hall at the institute which has managed to promote both academics and social and cultural activities in the form of events and competitions, organized by students, Gymkhana. The students of this hall are majorly involved in the spring fest, Kshitij, etc. The hall is divided into A, B, H, E, F, G, N, NR, W, and S blocks in four different buildings. The Hostel boasts its own basketball court, a well-equipped gym for health freaks, and table tennis facilities. Singing and dancing activities are practiced in the music room which has all the necessary facilities for the same. The hall also has its own student-driven library that issues the required books to all the wingmates for a complete semester. Food at this hostel is pretty good, and there is a night canteen food stall and a Nescafe within the hall that satisfies the untimely cravings of the hostellers.
